As a fervent gyoza enthusiast, I recently had the pleasure of dining at Harajuku Gyoza, and it was an experience that deserves every bit of acclaim. Right from the outset, the ambience of the place set a welcoming tone for what turned out to be a remarkable culinary journey. The gyoza here are simply exquisite. Each piece is a testament to the chefs’ expertise, perfectly cooked with a delightful balance of flavours that tantalises the palate. Whether you’re a fan of traditional offerings or adventurous enough to try something new, Harajuku Gyoza has got you covered. But what truly sets this place apart is their impressive selection of Japanese beers. Each variety complemented the meal beautifully, enhancing the overall dining experience. And for those with a sweet tooth, their desserts are not to be missed – a perfect end to an already fantastic meal. In sum, Harajuku Gyoza doesn’t just satisfy your cravings; it takes you on a gastronomic adventure that leaves you wanting more. Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates great food in a vibrant setting.

GREAT FOR COELIACS Harajuku Gyoza was a fabulous experience! I've been there for lunch and dinner now and have to score 10/10 for the service, the atmosphere and the food. Perfect for sensitive coeliacs as my friend was able to have the gyoza and terryiki chicken bowl with no effects - and she is super sensitive. Most of the seating is outside, so if you go at night, bring a jumper. Although you can request to eat inside. They get very busy, so booking is recommended. The bowls are big in size and very tasty and freshly prepared. When we went, they had a special on, where you can download their app and get a $10 credit on your drinks or food. They also give you a free welcome beer or house wine on the app. It may take a little while to download and go through, but one of the staff will help you and it's worth doing to reedeem the freebies. Situated on the mall side of the Oasis, it's opposite the fountain and stage area. Great for people watching, too!

Came here for a quick dinner while at Broad Beach, this place didn't disappoint me! Electronic menu was easy to use, and useful tip! You can remove the spicy shichimi from the food if sharing with little ones! We had the miso tagorashi corn ribs (our favourite dish of the night, full of flavour and super easy to eat even with chopstick), pork gyoza (very very juicy, well cooked) and beef gyudon bowl (one of the better ones we've had in Australia. The sauce to rice ratio was just perfect) For dessert we had the airdrop cheesecake. Good combo, the crunch/smoothne of this dessert is an odd but very satisfying combination. Tried the cherry blossom cider, refreshing and not sickly sweet like the Aussie ciders. My taste bud was a little off recovering from a cold that night but was good. Wife thinks it taste like children cough med šŸ˜‚ but most ciders can taste that way right? Will be back again if we are around this area next time!

The beer was good. Everything else, not so much. I had been there a couple of years ago and it was great. Not this time. I had the chicken katsudon. Rice, chicken fillet, mayo. Thats it. No other sauce, no veg, no egg, no garnish. It was not cheap. The Japanese takeaway down the road from my work is 2/3 the price and much better. The rice was not properly cooked. I dont know how this happens, I mean it goes in an automatic cooker. Add rice and water and press the button. Why is my rice crunchy? The dumplings were not good. The pork ones had a funky dry aged steak flavour about them, which is fine if I'm eating a steak, not in a pork dumpIing. I don't remember what the other dumpling were, i only remember that they were terrible too. I ate one of each from a total of 12 between 2 people. most of the dumplings were on the plate when we left. Service was fine i guess. The first impression was 2 wait staff being too busy talking to each other to seat us. From there the service did improve to the point of competence. If you are in broadbeach and are hungry for Japanese, you have better options. So, to go back to the start of the review. Beer was 11.50 for a jug. Go there and get drunk for cheap, not...

We had lunch at Harajuku’s for my girlfriend’s birthday And decided to get the bottomless brunch after seeing a review about it on TikTok. We were a little disappointed with the cocktail choices as we didn’t realise they would all be mixed with saki except for two. In the review we had seen on TikTok they said that margaritas were included in the bottomless brunch however they were not on the menu. We did enjoy some of the cocktails especially the sunrise saki but the lychee martini was not enjoyable. The food was mostly delicious except we were not fans of the rare beef which is more of just a personal choice. The presentation was all beautiful and there was plenty of food for the four of us. The service was very good and the servers were all very friendly. The drinks package goes for 90 minutes and you can only get another drink when you have finished the one that you have which is fair enough. The price was good considering we all had about five drinks each and a lot of food. I would definitely go back there as I think it would be good for large...
