This is my regular branch to visit since I live just across the road. Sadly, I cannot help but give a negative review tonight.
I ordered a whole barbeque chicken, cut in 8 slices and some other stuff. I asked how long is waiting time since there are 3 people waiting for their takeaway as well. The server said 10-15mins.
I went to check after 15mins, and realised that the guy who was ahead of me was still standing outside. I knew mine will would take longer.
From outside, you can see the activities of all the staff. Servers were waiting for the 4 staff that were in the kitchen. One particular cook, doing the grill, was extremely busy chatting and laughing more than getting busy with the food. He would chat with the other 2 next to him. There was even an instant when the guy server was showing this particular cook something in his phone. Now, I don’t mind a bit of chat and banters here and there whilst working; as long as you are not disruptive. This is the situation here, there’s disruption at work whilst customers are waiting for their food.
I saw this particular cook getting big pieces of chicken (which by this time, I am assuming, was my order; which I was right) and he started cutting them, but would pause to continue his stories whilst facing the other staff. He then puts the chicken in the box in between pauses for his stories. At this time, I have waited for more than 30mins. Coincidentally, one of the male staff told this disruptive cook to stop yapping and start cooking whilst I was approaching the girl server to let her know that people are waiting outside and could see that there’s more talking happening more than anything else. The girl server answers with “it’s not us, it’s them (pointing to the cooks)”.
No matter how good your food are; but you have staff that does not deliver what they’re there for; you will lose customers.
Oh, and btw, the guy who was ahead of me waiting for his takeaway? He was still standing near the takeaway window when I left. I told him to follow up on his order.

Pros:
The chicken is delicious and the food overall is great and reasonably priced. The staff are very nice and friendly, always willing to help. The ordering system is simple: you sit at your table, order via the QR code, and wait for your food to arrive. The food arrives fairly quickly.
Cons:
Cleanliness and Maintenance: The place could use some TLC. We’ve noticed water dripping from the ceiling vents, cutlery that sometimes doesn’t seem properly washed, and tables and chairs that could use a good wipe. The hot sauce and ketchup bottles also appear dirty, and the outside tables often have bird droppings. Staff Professionalism: While the staff are lovely, they can sometimes be unprofessional. We’ve had instances where we’ve needed assistance or wanted to place an order, but the staff were too busy chatting. It’s frustrating to have to apologize for interrupting them when we need help. Restocking Supplies: On multiple occasions, there has been no soap or paper towels in the restrooms, leaving us to use the food napkins. Not sure if this is a Nando’s issue or a cleaning service issue, but it needs addressing.
As much as we enjoy the food, these negatives are starting to outweigh the positives. It’s not pleasant to have to clean our own tables and cutlery, and we’re concerned about potential food safety issues.

When we asked where the food was we were told buy a young waitress that your Chicken is in the oven would we like some of your sides. My reply was NO we will have all together like we always do. I then questioned are you guy’s looking after the Uber eats drivers because there is so many of them standing outside over in house diners, the reply was quote “YES” unquote. Next thing our corn came to the table “ corn was cold and covered in really hot sauce “ Took it back and asked what the hell was going on here tonight. Our first plate of Chicken came out mine, it wasn’t a half and not hot. Then the poor girl in charge for the night came with all our food and said what is that you have it wasn’t our order. I said OMG and could do nothing but laugh. In the end we were asked to write what we had and we will be given a complimentary meal for a later date along with about six other dinners.
