Panda Palace Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

We went here for our friend's anniversay...four of us. We ordered and about 20 mins later part of one main meal arrived...it was supposed to be accompanied by a large special fried rice which came 20 mins later! So after the first dish was delivered along came part of another dish's accompaniment, a small bowl of coconut rice! The main meal to go with this arrived so long later that the rice was stone cold! After many complaints as to where were the other 2 main meal ordered, we asked for a container to put in the first meal which was now cold and said we would be leaving and would pay for the only meal that had come! They then apologised and said they would reheat the first meal and the bowl of coconut rice and would get all the other meals served at once so we agreed to stay....I'm not being mean but I have to say this was the worst Chinese meal I have ever had! I have eaten at this restaurant before with the previous owners and the food was extremely good. I would rate...

What a find!! We popped in for an impromptu dinner throughout the week. We were treated to an absolutely delicious and affordable feast for the family.

Service 10/10 - Sienna and Amia were delightful. Such helpful, polite and friendly young ladies.

Food 10/10 - We ordered a few different meat/seafood dishes. The food was fresh, vegetables were perfectly cooked with a bit of crunch in them (not soggy), generous serving sizes and the taste was impeccable. I'd highly recommend the sizzling lamb & garlic scallops, both are a must try!

If you live on the north end of the Coast and enjoy decent Chinese, you must stop in at Panda Palace. We'll definitely be back to try the sizzling steak and kung po chicken next time.

Terrible service. They got the take away order wrong and left out the duck from the steamed duck and chinese mushrooms. Offered to replace the the duck part of the meal if I paid extra. I demanded full replacement of the 3 meals so we could get what we paid for and eat them in one sitting whilst all were still hot. They refused after 2 phone calls but I did get a full refund. The poor girl who mixed up the order got the blame but she was trying to work on a very dodgy phone system. The last time we tried to order on line the site crashed twice. Have not been greatly impressed with the food lately. They have lost our custom. Went to the pizza place across the road for far superior food and...
