Appalling service from Mazda Southport in the recent months. I emailed in both September and October in 2024 enquiring about my damaged sun visor and broken SET button on the steering wheel of my CX30 that I had only bought in July 2023. Didn't receive a response both times, so I decided to call in December 2024.
I was able to bring the car in to have it looked at, however 2 hours later I was told that they had taken pictures to send to Mazda warranties to have the parts ordered through. I was told it would be within the next week and that I would receive a call back.
Fast forward mid-January 2025 after coming back from an overseas trip and nothing was left in my voicemail. I called and tried to chase up the original person who serviced me when I brought my car in - apparently he was with another customer and would call me back. One hour later and I still hadn't gotten a call back, so I called once again and was told I'd get a call back before the end of the day. Again - no call back.
I called a few days later to follow up and still the person I was after wasn't available. I was adamant on speaking to someone else as I wasn't going to give in to the broken promises of being called back. The person I spoke to informed me that they were still waiting on the warranties to be approved. When I asked why it had taken this long to receive a response, they were unapologetic and palmed off the responsibility to the person who had originally serviced me as they were "on holiday".
Called a week later for yet another follow up as it's taking a ridiculously long amount of time for simple parts to be approved, particularly as the sun visor is hazardous and obstructs my view as it can no longer hold up. I'm left with a voicemail to be told that yet again the warranties are awaiting approval.
It's been 2 weeks since then, with a total of 5 months waiting from 1st point of contact, that I've still yet to have the simple parts of my brand new vehicle repaired.

The last two services there I had with my previous car were also pretty awful . Now the third service with my brand new car , makes me wish I didnāt buy a new car at Mazda Southport . I was told it would take an hour , turned out to be 2.5 hours that I waited there . I had to go speak with someone at reception to see how it was going . I donāt believe they would have come and found me otherwise . It hadnāt been washed as requested. I would have made Alternative arrangements if the service and to wash my car was going to take longer then a hour , but their was no communication . This also happened last time , where they did not wash the car . Additionally with my previous car , they found that I had a leak from my cooler , and assured me it was still safe to drive . The next day my battery was dead and I had green fluid leaking heavily out of my car . I donāt know where it seems to break down , but it had to fall on the management at Southport Mazda . Itās difficult to even think about going back , when I have had such an amazing experience at Browns Plains and Toowong Mazda . I donāt know if itās just they go above and beyond , and itās makes Mazda at Southport look pretty bad . Iām regretting buying my new car , when I should have bought it at either Browns Plains or Toowong where I would have been provided better service sadly for the years to come with my new car .
