Poor customer service. Managers in the morning and night on April 10 were very unhelpful. Once they get your payment they will not bother replying to your concerns/complaints not even an answer to your querry about a stuff that you left there. I wasn’t even told that their balcony is no longer available because it is under construction I only found out when I came there in the morning of April 10 before my party. I went to the venue in the morning to check their sound system with my laptop. We had breakfast first and asked the manager if we can check the sound system he just said yes but never assisted me or nobody assisted me. I keep waiting for the manager or whoever can assist me in the room but no one came and since i was rushing for another agenda no dramas i just left and trusted it because I already heard it when i first checked the venue anyway. Do not trust their sound system it is old and not working properly. If you use their microphone their speaker wont work, if you use the speaker the microphone wont work! Better bring your own speaker to save you trouble and not spoil your special day. Their sound system got broken in the middle of my birthday party last April 10. I almost cried in disbelief because I didn’t bring a speaker with me just spare microphones. I trusted them and they just told me “it’s broken”. 3 staff came in and try to fix it but it just gotten worst the last staff pulled out all the wires. No further help after. I was lucky that one of my guests had her little speaker in her car so we used it to play music just to keep my party going. Shoutout to the bartender girl assigned to us that night she was very helpful to me. I emailed their coordinator about what happened to no response and i emailed again to ask about the missing disco light that im sure i left there to no response until now which prompted me to write this review. It was already very frustrating much more if you dont get a...

We periodically will meet Family here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We have overlooked previous instances where we get meals before drinks even though drinks were ordered beforehand on a seperate order, forgotten drinks or forgotten items of food but this morning was enough to push me to leaving a review. Never received a drink and when we questioned where it was we were told it was being made and coming. When it again didn't arrive and we questioned it a second time with a different staff member, she then came back with a handful of receipts and told us it was never ordered. It HAD been order and was confirmed by the customer behind. The attitude of the Male staff member who took the order and then assured us it was on the way needs to get a new job. His care factor is obviously at Zero. Everyone then got their meals, 1 meal missing so again another ordeal to get that meal and once received was missing the hash brown ( I couldn't be bothered raising this as we had already been made to feel like idiots who didn't order a drink). 2 of our meals were also served on bread and butter plates where the ends of the bread were just off the plate. We are understanding, tolerant customers anywhere we go but it seems Sunday mornings here need better management / leadership overseeing things. We'll be going a little further South to the Surf Club rather than...

had the pleasure of visiting the Southport Surf Life Saving Club, and I must say, it left a lasting impression. This club truly offers a delightful experience. Notably, what sets it apart is its reasonable pricing, making it a fantastic choice for a day or night out. The icing on the cake is the absolutely beautiful view it provides – a picturesque backdrop that adds a touch of tranquility to your visit.

As someone who enjoys outings, I often find myself hesitant due to overpriced options, but the Southport Surf Life Saving Club surprised me pleasantly. The balance between quality and cost is commendable, making it accessible to a wide range of patrons seeking a memorable experience.

Moreover, the inviting ambiance of the club adds to the overall enjoyment. Whether you're gathering with friends, family, or simply seeking some solo relaxation time, the atmosphere caters to various preferences. And let's not forget the captivating view that you're treated to – a sight that elevates the entire experience.

In a world where value for money matters, the Southport Surf Life Saving Club truly shines. It's a gem for anyone looking to enjoy their time without feeling burdened by excessive expenses. With its charming setting, good pricing, and breathtaking view, this club has all the elements to make your...

Love this place. It has a beautiful view, the staff are friendly, the food is great, and the beer is cheap (if you’re a member). I drive from Brisbane for an early swim at Main Beach right out the front of the Club, then head straight inside for breakfast. (Note that as of the date of writing this review, Google Maps incorrectly shows the club as North of the Pavillion instead of south of it.) I’ve not had a problem with getting a table even when it seems busy, but I haven’t been here in a super busy period. Order at the counter, and then the food is always brought to your table fairly quick even when there are lots of people. Breakfasts (and food generally) are not cheap, but so far they have been exceptional quality. Also, with a membership (see below) you can get great deals on food that makes it super cheap. For those thinking they may come once or twice a year: first, come more often; and second, pay $10 for a membership and you’ll make your money back in just a few beers, or a few meals. This week they have two for one breakfasts - come with a mate and you’ve already saved more than your membership fee. Thanks to the staff for a great venue. My only wish is that you opened at 7am!

View is spectacular, perfect for whale watching season with the food and service great too with friendly staff. Observed others meals that came out & all looked fresh and in a timely manner. If you’d like a table nearest the window, it’s best to book beforehand.

Disappointing experience, we went in with average expectations given it is a surf club however we did hope the meals ordered together would arrive somewhat together, 2 people did not get their meals until everyone else had finished eating, when questioned staff were non committal, food standard was typical slightly overpriced pub food but despite that my low rating is not for the food but for the BIRDS, they were everywhere inside along with evidence (poop and feathers) of where they had been, this includes frequently landing on the ledge ABOVE our table. While I understand it's hard to keep the birds out from a surf club with all windows open, I would suggest they put in some kind of bird deterrent to stop them landing on every surface above table height where they can drop poop on people's food and eating places. Unfortunately I won't be going back 😭
