Muffin Break Capalaba Park — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

Service is very poor and the girls are rude. Coffee not the best in the centre. I get a dirty chia at every muffin break I go to. In a medium dirty chai there is 1.5 shots of coffee and in every other muffin break I always ask for the full 2 shots because its just going to be wasted anyway. The staff are usually happy to do this, but at this store they try to charge for an extra FULL shot when I only want the full shot of whats already pouring. (I was a barista for 10 years so understand the difference between 1.5 shots and 2 shots) When I said that no other muffin break has charged me for the full 2 shots the girl said very abruptly "well they should be" and turned away from me. I've been to this store a few times and everytime I have had a bad experience. It's a shame because it brings every other muffin...

I always go here but have never been served by the girl thar served myself today. She was impatient and made it obvious, which I found very rude, I was trying to find the app on my Phone to use and I wasn't fast enough for her liking I asked for a quiche but wasn't given the option as to the different types. My family went to this muffin break today and the experience with the staff was appalling. The barista with the red hair was rude, argumentative and totally unhelpful. It's not the way to treat your loyal customers who have been frequenting this muffin break for many years. The staff needs to actively listen to what a customer orders and pass it on to the barista with precise clarity. The rigid practices to do with vessel usage need to be addressed by the owners.
