Sushi Central — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

Absolutely filthy place the dust on light shades above your head is about 3ml thick they have not been cleaned for a very long time. then the more i looked around the more i saw,,, the first thing i noticed when we walked in was the smell like musky and stale air smell then looked down at the carpet at the entrance omg i'm sure its been there since the place opened i didn't even want walk on it with shoes on.i looked up and the ceiling and all around the aircon vent is covered in mould and dust. It is scary to think what is crawling around in there at night when the place is closed. When they closed for the lockdown they certainly didn't do any cleaning..We were very hungry so still sat down the food on the train was very ordinary i love my sushi but choices were terrible we had one plate each some peach tea and then left. I have been in redcliffe for 18yrs and it was one of the first places i went to been there a few times and nothing in there has changed since but today i really looked around for some reason,, the health inspector would have a field day with place.. I won't be back unless it gets a complete makeover...Also we both felt very crook...

Ive been here a few times and was happy, however today for lunch was an eye opener. The hygiene, customer service definitely has declined a lot. One particular Asian female staff member with short hair was very rude from the moment we were seated. Once we were seated she asked what we like to drink and I asked for green tea and my colleague asked for water. She brought out 2x green tea and no water and once we said we didn't ask for 2 teas only 1 plus 1 water she had a problem with that too. Furthermore, I noticed the table was not wiped and seemed like the person before me messed avocado or something similar on the table, don't get me wrong it was tidy, but NOT clean. Also, I put the one small bowl aside (see pics) as it had a old piece of rice stuck in it plus the next one I attempted to take seemed it was rinsed and not washed. By this time I started loosing my appetite and when my chicken katsu curry came out I ate 3 pieces, and left the rest of the plate as per pics and asked for the bill. Once I paid I asked for tax invoice and the same person who served us had a attitude when I asked for that too. I will...

Got lucky because we didn't need to wait on our shool night out when I dined with friend & family all up included 2 x children who loved the sushi train especially any thing with avocado in it. My friend ordered 2 x chicken dishes teriyaki and chicken curry which was shared and swapped with her partner. I ordered GF and was seriously considered by the chef in my choices 1x plate of Salmon Aburi=2 and 1 x plate of Beef Aburi both delicious choices & GF mayo was offered and taken, however only 1 x very small serve of gf soya sauce could be found by staff on this evening. I sampled a gluten free Karage chicken bowl surprisingly tasted really good!
