Upon reading all the reviews, we decided to have dinner here. Upon arriving we were quickly greeted and asked where we would like to sit, so we requested a table and went and sat at the table. The staff member did not follow us, we did not receive a menu or water when we sat down. We sat there looking around wandering what to do next, so I got up and approached a staff member requesting a menu, where i saw the staff member that greeted us on our arrival, serving other customers. The staff member I approached apoligised and provided menus. No water was provided at that time. We requested wine glasses from a staff member who then disappeared and seemed to forget our request, serving other customers, so we went to the shelf where the wine glasses were stored and got two glasses for our wine, ourselves. The meal was served in a reasonable time. We were one of the lucky ones as we saw two tables order meals, then tired of waiting, they left the restaurant. The inside area of the restaurant was extremely hot and uncomfortable, so combined with eating curry, did not make a pleasant atmosphere. We had Pakoras which were tasty, but the Momos were bland and wouldn't order again. I had Goat Curry which was very nice and tasty and my partner had Butter Chicken. The Butter Chicken was tasty and requested medium heat, but had no heat or spicy when eaten. During the meal we were not approached by staff asking how our meal was and they seemed disorganised. A taller female staff member appeared to be working her butt off serving meals, never stopping and always on the go, talking to kitchen staff regarding meal orders, without much support from her other two female staff members. The taller female staff member was the only one that noticed our water jar was empty and...
Read moreI can honestly say this was one of the best Indian dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the aroma of rich spices and freshly cooked food had me excited. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing – they made us feel right at home.
I tried the butter chicken, and it was perfection – creamy, rich, and full of flavour with just the right amount of spice. The garlic naan was soft, buttery, and fresh out of the tandoor, and the lamb rogan josh was melt-in-your-mouth tender with deep, slow-cooked flavour.
What really stood out was the attention to detail – everything was cooked with care, beautifully presented, and bursting with authenticity. You can tell the chefs here take pride in every dish.
The ambiance was lovely – a perfect mix of traditional Indian touches and modern comfort. It’s ideal for a casual meal, date night, or even a group dinner. And the prices? Super reasonable for the quality you’re getting.
If you’re looking for delicious Indian food that hits all the right notes – flavour, hospitality, and vibe – you have to check out Royale Curries. I’ll definitely be back (probably...
Read moreOrdered take away and got notified 15 minutes. Ended up going there late thinking it's a busy Saturday night and arrived about 25 minutes after placing the order. Got told they hadn't started it yet and they would make sure it got done ASAP. Over 45 minutes waiting in the restaurant finally got my meal. That's 1 hour after ordering with little explanation to the delay. Also ordered from their own website an entree pack which they said they didn't do anymore apparently and asked if she could substitute. I thought the substitutions would be adequate for the price I paid but all the did was give some extra naan which I had already ordered anyway. Really should have been told the wait was over 45 mins when I arrived as I would have taken my...
