Indian Express. Authentic Indian Cuisine. — Restaurant in Hahndorf

The curry's were pretty good though the naan breads were dry and the raita weirdly sweet.

We called and ordered over the phone and they told us it would be 35 minutes, when I arrived 35 minutes later they said it wasn't quite ready yet and would be another 10 minutes . . . 35 minutes later the food was finally ready so I grabbed the bag and headed home to my hungry family - unpacking the food to our great dismay we realised they forgot to put the two rice's we had ordered in the bag so I had to cook some before we could finaly eat! (Was quicker to cook it myself than to go back again as we live in mt. Barker).

Now, had this been a super busy night (having worked in the industry when I was younger) I would have been fine with it - but it was a Monday night, they literally had no customers in the restaurant and for the whole time I was there only sent out one delivery meal. I was very disappointed all around especially for the price of the meal and will not be using this...

Very good customer service staff especially waitress. She is very nice and polite. Food is okay but not good as per the Indian standard. I dined in that restaurant before also, when it was Nepali restaurant, so quality degraded . Overall nice restaurant with good customer service and positive vibes. But wait...I am not done yet. Here comes the TWIST.'INDIAN MAN WITH GLASSES'. - 'NIGHTMARE OF EVERY INDIAN DINER'...RUDEST CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSONNEL EVER BUT ONLY WITH INDIAN CUSTOMERS(one can make out from negative comments here, mostly from Indian customers).I don't know his problem, may be he had some bad experience with his own people in the past, but ''mate you need to treat every customer respectfully. I don't know what's your position there and why you are frustrated with your own like people or you have any inferiority issues but racist attitude especially in a customer service and in developed country like Australia...

I visited this restaurant yesterday for early dinner with my family during my road trip. Food was okay but restaurant staff lacks basic etiquettes of hospitality profession or they deal with people according to race as per their preconceived notion. As a business man and lawyer, I am a frequent international and domestic traveller and due to that dined in many restaurants. So, my dining habits and manner are as per international standards. Same goes with my kids. But this resturant staff as per their presumptions based on race didnt provide us with spoons and forks to eat which is very basic of any eatery. Even, he was lighting the candles on others table but completely ignored us. It feels like as we were dining for free even though I spent more than 100 dollars. Also flies all around not very clean. Not very welcoming eatery . Will never visit again nor...
