Absolutely shocking! I came at 11:30am with my daughter (toddler). There were 3 other tables, 2 of which already had their food. Was greeted when walking through the door which was nice, but when I tried to order a banana smoothie the guy on the coffee machine interrupted saying "no, we're out" and that was it. I then got an iced mocha, which came out reasonably quickly and was actually quite nice BUT we waited 40 minutes for 1 serve of corn fritters with a hash brown! I ended up having to ask for it in a take away box because my daughter needed a sleep. Trying to entertain her with the cheap plastic slide and rocker (I will say that I am glad they even had that there...). When the food finally came out it was literally 4 corn fritters and 2 poached eggs THAT WERE COLD shoved in a box. The guy didn't apologize for the wait or anything either and they literally tasted like a bunch of tinned corn cooked in egg. Not worth the money and not worth the time! I will say on the plus side that the coffee was nice so if you're just going for coffee you'll...

Read moreWe made this our local for the 4 days we spent in Hahndorf (our motel is right next door). I loved how it wasnt modelled on the whole German theme. The lattes were super delicious! The image attached shows one of the breakfast we had - my partner said the double brekky burger on Turkish bread was the best he has ever had (he is a connoisseur of B&E sandwiches/rolls 🤭). The sauce was a combination of bbq and tomato relish & the eggs were perfectly cooked 🍳 My brekky brushetta was perfectly balanced with the red onion, fresh radishes and herbs. I added chorizo, which was beautifully fried and the tasitest I've had in a long time. The additional scrambled eggs were deliciously silky. Highly recommend the two as well as the corn fritter stack 🤤 - the portions are so generous 😍 you leave full till dinner. The owner and staff are really friendly, maintain a clean space are attentive and accommodating to customer needs. Prices are more than...
