The German Pantry — Local services in Hahndorf

So sad that this shop deliberately reported "PERMANANTLY CLOSED" on Google maps only to re-register themselves. Clearly an attempt to erase more than 300 1-star reviews that used to be there.

Many of the now-deleted reviews used to be really funny, and as a customer who experienced exactly what is described in all the other reviews, it was some sort of therapy for me to read all the funny negative reviews at the end of the day as a way to destress. I really miss them a lot.

Like one of the nostalgic deleted reviews used to say, this shop must be some sort of top secret Uranium laboratory run by Nazis. Otherwise, nothing can explain for the shopkeepers' extreme measures on "no photo" policy.

This woman used to lock people in and out of the shops during COVID times using personal safety as an excuse. She would also push people out the door, down the steps, when people try to COVID19 check in using QR codes... lol.

I'm glad those days are over, but recent reviews tell me the shopkeeper lady is just as miserable as she...

Giving one star because you have to give something but that is generous. Woman working there is horrible, taking up space while we tried to look around, no one else in the shop so felt crowed by her presence. Saw a item that my good friend had told me about and loved so thought oh wow I’ll send her a photo and immediately this woman yells at me YOU CANNOT TAKE PHOTOS DELETE IT NOW I was in shock and apologised she then proceeded to have a attitude and tell me there are signs!!! I was so shocked and just walked out. Funny thing is none of the products they supply are exclusive to them can get them elsewhere so don’t even bother going in unless your keen for a argument...

The shopkeeper is an awful awful lady, there was no “no photo” signs at all in the store we made sure to check as we wanted to be respectful, after concluding there was no signs we pulled out a phone, no photo was taken yet, she screamed at us to delete the photo and proceeded to STARE and smack her lips at our group, my friend who simply took her phone out left the store as they were so uncomfortable and she then pushed her nasty attitude onto us, even when we had not even had a phone out. God forbid you need to send a text message or anything in that store as you’ll be treated horribly. Give this store a miss when visiting, disgusting behaviour...
