Melburians, you NEED to get here!

Ok, so we all know Melbourne is known for amazing coffee places. On holiday, it can be so hard to find a place that is “as good as home”. Well, here it is!

A hidden gem on the mall. You might walk past this treasure, completely unaware of it as it is unobtrusive and not exactly easy to spot.

The coffee is superb, and the food presented simply… in other words ‘comfort food’.

Frequented by regulars and being waited on in a friendly manner - the proprietor is up for a chat and eager to please.

Our last coffee stop in Tassie, and it seems as though we unwittingly saved the...

Slow service. Thank you for replying and yes We do understand that times are a bit harder with staff and the situation that we're in at the moment. We were mostly disappointed by the fact that it took 40 minutes for 3 bowls of chips to arrive. By then we were late back to work and had had nothing to eat. Half way through waiting we did ask the waitress how things were going and was told they were just waiting for the other bowl to be cooked but on saying all that the staff are always friendly. Put it down...

My partner and I went to Hobart in the early July for the first time. On our first day we saw this cafe and was interested to give it a try. Boy oh boy we agree that this was one of the best cafe we've tried in Hobart ever. The atmosphere was amazing and the staffs were all great! We both tried the eggs benedict as recommended by the kind owner of the cafe and we were not disappointed. The coffee were great too! Definitely coming back the next time we visit Hobart for...

Came to Tassie for a holiday and so far had been very disappointed by the food until I stumbled upon Beaujangles. It was the holiday feed I had been looking for all week! I had the breakfast burger and my partner had the chilli scrambled eggs, both of which were amazing! Coffees were also good. The service of the staff could have been better, they weren’t rude but they weren’t overly welcoming either. That’s the only downfall but still worth coming in for the quality food 👌

A rare find in the heart of the city. Beaujangles checks all the boxes of our favorite cafe in town: good coffee, decent food and delightful service. The timeless decor has the right amount of character that’s inviting and cozy. Menu offers a variety of hearty dishes and finger foods. Can’t recommend a better spot to hang out with mates in a sunny arvo sharing a warm lemon citrus cake and one scone.
