CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice Hobart — Restaurant in Hobart

I come in every so often for a dragon fruit smoothie with friends. I have a massive sweet tooth and get it with 50% sugar and less ice every time.

The inside of CoCo is absolutely beautiful, the decor is incredibly aesthetically pleasing, the painting on the side is adorable, and the puns on the mirrors are just as cute. This store is such a nice place to be in.

The music is always worthy of a little dance, CoCo keeps up with trends regarding music and often plays throwbacks as well. All the drinks on the monitors look incredible and they taste just as good.

I reunited with an old friend from high school very recently, we didn't get along too well back then because we were little weirdos, but when we met up we grabbed a drink from CoCo and discussed life and such like all that time had never even passed. It was wonderful, CoCo is so lovely and it's a major place...

We love bubble tea, have had it in many Asian countries, and are pleased that it is here in Australia where we have managed to find it in the capital cities we have visited. Prices and quality are consistent across this country and CoCo is no exception. Despite it being a one-man, or rather one-woman operation when we visited, service was friendly and efficient. The shop is in busy Elizabeth Mall where we had gone to look for a light lunch after an outdoor wedding at the Botanical Gardens. I had a Bubble Gaga, passion fruit green tea with pearls and coconut jelly, while my wife had Three Guys, classic milk tea with pearls, pudding and grass jelly. We had the standard drink but you can specify less sugar and/or ice which is useful for those who don't like too much sugar. Or ice. We paid by credit card and disabled access...

We were told by the lady that we have to wait 10 minutes after placing our order and that's was fine. We've waited for 15 minutes and the customer before us have not receive their order, so I went to the counter and ask if we could get a refund because we've got to go to a movie. The lady kind of refused and yelled at us and said wait one minute. So we've waited 18 minutes for our drinks and wasn't that good. It's okay but you don't have to yelled at your customer to be honest. It's just really bad and unprofessional if you were after somewhere with better service, visit gong cha (better quality and service)or the one opposite at least they don't yelled at you.
