Been going to Island Espresso for years. This is the original coffee shop that got me hooked on proper coffee! Magnificent retro cool building with a chill out lounge upstairs, an outdoor seating area out the back - making the most of the space. But then there's the food - wow! This family have owned the business since 1999 and they all work very hard to provide the best quality range of cooked breakfast and lunch meals that you will find anywhere, and very well priced. Then there's the Zimmah coffee (which is owned by the same family). The girls are absolutely specialists in the art of making an excellent coffee, the consistency is outstanding. "I absolutely in love with this cafe! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was part of the family. The cozy atmosphere is warm and inviting, with comfortable seating and rustic decor that makes you feel like you're in a friend's living room.

But what really sets this cafe apart is the exceptional service. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about making sure you have a great experience.

The staff knew the names of many of their regulars who came by and there was a constant steam of customers coming through the door while we were there.
