Wooden Horse Bar and Pizza is an absolute must-visit! The food is seriously delicious, and the portions are generous – perfect for sharing or indulging on your own. We tried several dishes, and everything was bursting with flavor. The ribs, in particular, were impressive – big, meaty, and full of sweet BBQ sauce, rich flavor that made every bite a delight. Highly recommended! 🌟

On our first visit, they were still fairly new, and they did accidentally miss our pasta order. But they handled it so well! They quickly brought it out, and let me tell you, it was worth the wait. That pasta? Simply amazing – honestly, the best we’ve ever had! You’ve got to try it.🔥

To top it off, the owner or manager personally came over to apologize and offered us a dessert on the house, which we really appreciated. We were too full to take up the offer, but we’ll definitely be back to give it a go!👏👏

The drink selection is fantastic, with a range of beers and some great promotions.

And the vibe? Spot-on! The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with decor and lighting that create a cozy yet upbeat feel. Staffs were new but very friendly and funny, taking care of each table.

We had a table of 8, our experience was messy to say the least.

One staff member insisted we open a tab for a our whole table, another allowed us to pay per item when we ordered drinks.

Upon asking if the chicken wings had dairy, one staff member said they did not know, the other two went to ask the kitchen and we received two different answers, one saying that the sauce (containing dairy) could be separate, the other saying we were unable to have it separate.

The 3 parmi orders were well received by the people who had them.

The person who ordered chicken wings said they slapped, credit where it is due.

The pasta was rated a 2/10.

Fish and chips tasted old and frozen.

Pizza was bland.

We also paid $5.60 for a 250ml can of Coke.

Sad to say we won't be coming again as the venue has a nice atmosphere. The food was hit or miss and quite overpriced for some of the portion sizes.

The staff seemed untrained, and the menu had no information relating to allergens.

However, Allira was lovely, amazing service...

Most waitstaff were not knowledgeable about potential allergens in their food, I'm allergic to dairy and they couldn't tell me what items were dairy free with different staff telling me a menu item was simultaneously dairy free and not dairy free.

Furthermore, the staff did not seem to be on the same page about business practises with each person we interacted with, giving us a different answer to the same question. Allira was the only staff member who knew what she was doing, she was very kind and accommodating (Queen tbh).

The food was average, most people in the group finished their food due to the cost rather than wanting to. Portion sizes were average for the cost. The tables are also barely big enough to accommodate the plates, especially with a bigger group.

Overall the experience wasn't that great, if you have allergies I would stay away. Very unlikely I will be returning but if you love mediocre service, food and vibes this is the...

This pizza got my award for the most tasteless pizza I have ever eaten. The one piece of pepperoni on the pizza was insanit considering I ordered it as an extra. May be good choice for kids as kids like plain food. The service was prompt but made me question my life’s choices and my Italian ancestors were turning in their graves with every bite. It tasted like plain tomato paste was used as the sauce and challenged my will to live with its insult on my tongue. Saving grace was that i had some home made pesto in the fridge and doused it to be considered somewhat edible i hate wasting food. Am grateful that they gave it a red hot go. I also like the decor.
