Place has gone downhill.

We ordered a beef burger with a side of onion rings, chicken burger, with a side of chips and two bottles of fizzy cordial. No clean tables, asked if they could clear one, they didn't so we ended up just taking the dirty plates to the counter after 10 minutes of standing around after we ordered. I know it's not great value but on this day it was VERY stingy, it came to $70 for two people, the drinks were the 300ml ones and there were like 5 onion rings, sauce was an extra $2. Both burgers were greasy on the outside of the bread bun, just not great and the chicken burger was a little burned and flabby. Maybe they were having a bad day.

I tried again on the weekend, two of us a bit after 8. Again many tables that hadnt been cleared but not "busy" with diners. Stood at the counter for what feels like 10 minutes (it was probably closer to 5) before we were served. Taking our order was painful because he walked off into the kitchen half way through taking the order, kept adding trucker chips when we just wanted a side of normal chips and for some reason he thought 2 people wanted 3 burgers. Anyway just as we were about to pay he told us that it was take away only. Decided to cancel our order and go find somewhere else.

I have never taken food back in my entire life, until this place. I have also never felt the need you write any type of bad review in my life however I was here on Friday the 24/5/19 in the afternoon sometime and this is the worst place to go.The burgers alone are around $16-$18 and if that is how much they are going to charge for one burger let it be tasty. This was such a disappointment. The bread was falling apart, lots of bread in comparison to the filling, I paid extra for bacon and only revived a piece about the size and thinness of my pinky finger (very small), there were two giant pieces of very poorly cooked chicken thigh fillet and the taste of it was all round disgusting. I had two bites and wanted to throw up. Even my boyfriend didn't eat his and he usually powers through anything chicken. The staff were also super rude and argued with me when I begged for a refund which was given back to me very reluctantly. Waited 20 minutes to get the first half of what we ordered. Delivered one of our burgers to the wrong table, and I had to go up and explain it might be ours as the staff couldn't work it out.

Partner and I ate our food separately due to the times our food came out, and I didn't get my shake until after we had finished eating (40 minutes after ordering it).

Waitress said nothing at all. Didn't say what burger it was when she put it down so we had to check, didn't say 'thanks for waiting' let alone apologising for the wait and confusion.

As we were finished eating and ready to go by the time the shake was made, I asked for it in a take away cup - waitress simply said 'yeah that's alright'.

The burgers themselves were average. Bread was soggy and meat was dry. My burger was meant to come with pickles but I had one single slice of pickle about the size of a 20c coin.

Each thing was small, but as there were a number of issues it all added up to a really unsatisfactory experience. Won't be...
