my partner and I decided to come to this cafe for brunch, and we were not disappointed! This cozy little cafe is tucked in the middle of Mathers Lane. It’s not noticeable if you’re driving on Liverpool St, but if you’re taking a stroll in the city, you might notice it. We sat down, expecting typical brunch food, Eggs Benedict, eggs on toast, etc. The menu wasn’t big, but there’s food you’d never expect to go well together! The last page of the menu showed sweet & savoury waffles. My partner and i decided to try something different, and he ordered the eggs benedict waffles, and i ordered smoked salmon & capers-filled waffles. It was amazing! We were pleasantly surprised about how well waffles go with savoury breakfast dishes. I highly recommend the smoked salmon & capers waffles, it’s something different from usual breakfast/brunch food, yet surprisingly tasty.

There is table service & the waitress takes your order at your table. The coffee is delicious and the food did not take long to...

Came here for an all day breakfast and boy was I happy and impressed. Firstly I was cheerfully greeted by the counter staff. She made me an amazing coffee and brought me iced water. The poached eggs on sourdough with smoked salmon was Devine. 5 stars to the young girl at the counter who was Multi tasking greeting customers, taking orders and making the coffee and serving the orders to the table too and taking payments for the meals! It's with staff like this and the quality of food which was excellent and even though the place was full not a table to spare my order arrived so fast and I received...

Extraordinarily rude - we came in excited to get some gluten free breakfast and the cashier told us to leave, or get outside and come back in when we knew what we wanted and order - difficult if you’ve never been there before…

There were open tables, but she told us to leave and come back when they were less busy - no wait list, no queue, no way to be called back.

A bit confusing - I guess they were overstretched or maybe they just didn’t want to serve us because we weren’t regulars? Confusing - maybe steer clear unless...

Ordered a last minute gluten-free birthday cake, and was blown away by how quickly they could make it happen (at least 24 hours before and a $15 surcharge - which I was more than happy to pay), how lovely the people are, and how beautifully the cake turned out. I ordered the Hummingbird Cake for an 80 year old’s birthday. It was beautifully presented, quite large in size (feeds at least 16pax), everyone of all ages loved it and it even made a great breakfast the next day. I highly recommend. Thank you Will + the team!
