Woody's Cafe — Restaurant in Hume

Even for the off season the food was terrible. Schnitzel sandwich was stale, chicken was hard and dry. Overpriced for what they serve.

We Stood there for 10 minutes before getting served, the 3 people behind the counter just looked at us and kept talking amongst themselves. There was 2 other people in there and already eating so we just waited for them to finish their conversation…

Still took a long time to get the food ready. We didn’t mention or comment on it.

The 65yr old blonde lady there was rude and arrogant for no reason and generally seemed like a she’s happy to be a B daily..

Went in to order a coffee and get chips. Served promptly, however, food is overpriced. $6 for a 70gr bag of chips. Coffee wasn't mixed properly (2 sugars settled at the bottom). I sat at a table next to the window, working on important work tasks, only to be told by the staff (literally 5 minutes later): 'we need you all out, because we are now closed' Quite literally kicked out of the place, and wasn't even told they close in 5 minutes when I was ordering a coffee. I specifically even asked if I can have a 'have here' instead of takeaway, at which point I could have been told they close soon.

Don't bother with this...

1 chicken schnitzel sandwich and 2 long blacks was $31 which is pretty steep but I wouldn’t have minded if the food was good 🥲 but the schnitzel was so dry and the crumb coating was not crispy also.
