Where to start if you like eating rubber meat, Cafe on the Hilltop is for you, Got the chicken parmy, paid full price for it ($14+) and I'm pretty sure it's been sitting here longer then the wait time at the ED (emergency department) $50 for 2 meals, a pie and 3 drinks (one water) What really upsets me is that it's part of the Hospital so majority of people coming to this Cafe are here seeing a loved one in Hospital, so you pop down for a quick bite to eat and you get robbed financially and the food is bloody horrible. Highly recommended going elsewhere or bringing food from another establishment I never complain about food. I'm a fatty. Do yourself a favour and steer clear

I have only had coffee and sweets at the cafe with hubby as a treat. But I gave a 5 star rating on that because the cafe is clean with the exception of people just having left there tables and not tiding up after themselves. The staff are always attentive and they have a great selection of healthy foods that go beyond just a salad. They also have gluten free selection. 3 fridges of cold drinks a hot box a selection of gifts also a small selection of toiletries if you've forgotten or run out of something on your stay in hospital. The food is always fresh every time we've stopped in for a cuppa the cakes and slices are always fresh. Not dried out or hard to cut or swallow and a good proportion size to share with a loved one. But keep in mind that they will not serve anyone who is talking on there mobile phone. Which I think is fabulous. It's a very popular place to drop in and get a quick bite to eat or to sit down and have a cuppa with a cuppa with...

I have to share my experience. I am one of the regular customers and i work at the hospital. Lately the food which has been served has got poor quality. No seasoning or flavour. I had some fish and rice today i have to let you guys know that this was very bad. For the price of the meal i dont think it worthy. Last time i ordered meat lover pasta to be frank i have not seen any meat in it, just some cauli and other veges. Please look into this. You might lose...
