Disappointing and dishonest service
Ordered lunch box - veg curry rice and naan deal, naan is burnt and curry is spread all over the rice, I contacted them immediately to flag the mistake has told me to give credit for next order but while place an another order charge me full price and told me no records for your order and don’t know who has given the credit.
It’s not just a simple mistake, it’s the refusal to acknowledge it that makes this experience so frustrating.
Below reply is complete LIE from you First of all as i have approached and let other person know and also called him as i have short time for the food pick place order at12.30 order not ready until 12.53 ------ wait time is 23min. check your records
Not saying all your staff is rude but some of them are really not coming to greet or welcome just standing and waiting after you ring the bell number of times, as some of your staff is really rude no respect what so ever and full of attitude very poor customer service packing the food no cutlery not bother to ask.
Service Speed: Wait times can be longer than expected, especially during peak hours. This may be due to high demand
I have given the opinion about the naan that is burnt and no action will taken @ Aman Sharma - If customer give you any feedback need to take it as to improve services and training the staff opportunity. Before i went from the shop i have told him will take more than 15 min and happy to pay for you kind information as i regularly come with my other colleagues may be 4-5 times in a month to place orders. Hope this may find you to improve your service and...
Read moreFriends and I visited the Memories of India Restaurant a few weeks ago and we are definitely keen to return! We were very impressed by the dishes that we ordered - the mixed tandoori platter and the vodka chicken, as entrees, then the Prawn Malabar, Lamb Hyderabadi and the Chicken Methi Malai, as mains; all very tasty dishes and generous servings. We also enjoyed the plain steamed basmati rice and the lemon rice, and cucumber raita. The standout was the garlic and cheese naans that we ordered with our entrees. They came out piping hot and were absolutely delicious. As wine drinkers, we were happy to find an excellent riesling on the restaurant's wine list, that offered a good range of wines. We found the presentation of the meals to be of a high standard, the service was friendly and capable, and the dishes, at lunch time, were delivered promptly. One of our party has a back problem and, without being asked, the young female server, Nilu (apologies for a possible incorrect spelling), provided a more comfortable chair for her. We can only recommend Memories of India for a very good meal and an enjoyable overall...
Read moreGreat quality indian food, with the spice level tailored to the Australian palate. I had the mango chicken and it was the first time I've ever been offered to spice it. It's a bit of a sweet dish and usually served mild, so I decided to try it medium spice. The slight add of spice was good, and in my experience is on the mild side (considering how hot Indian food can really be!). They have a chilli sauce they can offer if you want to see how hot you can handle before getting a full dish.
Atmosphere-wise, it's a former pub with dim lights and light background music. There's a few indian themed decorations. The place is partitioned to make it feel more intimate.
And I can't forget the service, the waitress was lovely and always smiling! Even the waiter gave some small chit chat, it almost felt I was in someone's home.
I dined in, but most of their business is takeaway. Plenty of people coming through the doors, so you can tell that the locals have developed a taste for the place.
Thoroughly recommend this place! Be prepared for the energy, enthusiasm and smiles of Mani! (Hope I spelled her...
