Of the three indian restaurants in Ipswich it is definitely my least favourite. The best thing about it was the rice was not an extra and actually came with each curry ordered. This is the only good thing about the experiece. The pappadums came out first and they were definitely not crispy although the accompanying dippings were very tasty. I ordered the lamb vindaloo. Now as most people would know a vindaloo is supposed to be a very hot dish. As a base level ordering a vindaloo the consumer should already know that they are in for something very hot and spicy. Well, I happen to like it very hot indeed so when I order it done Indian hot very specifically after being told by the wait staff that the vindaloo is extremely hot i think i can expect something close to how I like it. I was wrong, it was the saltiest thing Ihave eaten for a very long time just ridiculously salty almost to the point of being inedible. And ufortunately it was not hot even in the slightest. I've had butter chicken that was hotter. My partners food was tasty but again she ordered medium hot and although it was quite mild it was actually hotter than the vindaloo despite having pineapple in it. Yeah, I don't think...
Read moreHorrible food made us sick ... calling themselves an Indian Resturant is an insult to Indian food ... we ordered our food via Uber eats firstly they sent us food that we didn’t order when we rang and enquire they hesitantly aggreed to send our order we placed originally.
Order came at 10:30 pm and it was horrible -
Please don’t waste your money or kill your taste buds with their food .... please we request u to not order food from this Resturant as it has no value for quality or authenticity of the food ...
Palak planner we ordered had no taste it was like a can of spinach warmed in micro wave
Garlic naans - were like raw plain flour dough neither cooked properly nor had any taste
Papdamus - stale and too salty
Rice - cold and semi cooked
Please don’t insult Indian food like this and get your act together ... embarrassing and disgraceful to say the least ..
Raita - sweet curd with no authenticity
Salad - watery left over
I am feeling sick...

He didn't use sanitizer after that even though it was available. A staff member bought my food out and gave it to him. He took the bag and proceeded to have a work related conversation with her while I was standing less than 2 m away waiting for my food that I had paid for. It was only a minute but I found it quite annoying that I, as a customer, was a lower priority than having the discussion with the staff member. Surely that could have happened after I left.
The food was nice but really no different from the other Indian restaurants in the Ipswich area. My experience leaves me with little to encourage me to come back, partly because there are other places where I expect to be treated with more respect. In a competitive market a business needs to stand out. Customer service is a...
