Today my sister, my son and I decided to have lunch at the plough inn. We have had enjoyed lunch there numerous times and we were excited to eat there again. My son was very energetic and exploring the area and I was trying to keep him entertained while my sister ordered our meals. The lady who took the order said to her very rudely, "The boy will need colouring in and pencils" and handed them to.us. I approached her and said I didnt like that way she spoke to my sister and about my son. She then starting raising her voice at me and said that it was a business and didn't want children running around. If I didn't like it I should leave and will.give me my money back as she is the boss. I replied with " no that we are going to stay". We enjoyed our meal as usual and later just before we left the lady came over and apologised to my sister thinking that she was "The mum", where as I didn't get an apology at all. I have been to so many other places to eat for example Cataract on Paterson on Sunday 6th april with my husband and son and everyone was lovely, talking and interacting with our son and offering food that he wanted. This experience initially made me angry but now upsets me as I feel like the worst mum in the world who has a child...
Read moreCold stake. Disturbing burger. Chips a corner store makes better. Pitterful service. Spoke with worker that claimed to be on staff manager that was disrespectful, and petulant. $3 extra for gravy that's no bigger than a fifty cent coin is wrong but the worse factor was the supreme rip off on drinks. My soft drink was served in a whiskey glass and my friend's meal was promised a POT of beer he was given the glass supposed to be reserved for non alcoholic beverages. More than half the size of a POT. It was the smallest glass I have ever seen beer served in. We watched other tables receive pots of beer but we did not. When we addressed these matters with the staff we were fobbed off and disrespected. I am a reviewer that only returns to places that respect their customers and at least try to address such things. This place joins the ranks of sickeningly disturbed places I will not return to. Total...

We called and asked if there was a dairy free option and was told there was no issue when we booked. On arrival we were informed that even the vegan options contained dairy.
The staff we rude and refused to ask the kitchen saying that gluten was the same thing as dairy free. I had to ask them to go downstairs and speak to the chef. One staff tried to upsell me the most expensive steak ever. The staff had no training what's so ever.
We had to ask multiple staff to change the TV in the booth at first they said we couldn't then after an hour the allowed us to change channels.
They didn't even understand that Veganism is the practice of abstaining from the use of animal products such as milk.
Then they forgot an entire meal with no apologises.
