I've had wonderful ramen here in the past and their chicken is lush and moist. Used to be. This time - a very lacklustre ramen with little flavour and only lukewarm. The noodles overly chewy and the pork were dry and stringy ( not the usual chashu they used to do that were melt in mouth tender and tasty ). Fried chicken were dry and hard - but I had a ramen i were not going to eat so I could at least dunk it and eat it. Only use for it really. Neither were well seasoned as I had to ask for soy sauce to do it myself as no condiments on table. I were given two little take away portions of soy that they given with sushi. *sigh. I would have said something but I really don't think they would have cared. I'd return but reluctantly as no point throwing good money after bad. Photo is the soup, noodles and pork I'm leaving.

Perfectly serviceable ramen on the outskirts of Launceston's CBD; will definitely hit a craving if it's what you're looking for Woke up and was in the mood for ramen - enter this gem of a place. Ramens always a good time, so saying "the ramen is good" is a bit redundant (but it's worth mentioning). Alongside this they serve some Japanese classics that bring home those classic flavours Outside of the food, there's not much more that grabbed my attention; service was fine and the setting was clean/nice. To be fair though, you're here for the ramen and that's what sells it

I really don't know why this place has this much high rates😂 I ordered tsukemen, I know what is tsukemen, but maybe they don't know. They definitely cook noodles first and let them dry til get order, and pouring soup later. If you order just normal soup ramen, it will work. But tsukemen is different. Noodle has to be cooked fresh. attached photo. It's so dry. On the photo as serving, seems great. But😓😓 Sadly if someone think they do really nice tsukemen, sorry to say it but you'd better to explore world more... And it was $21.90 wow

So excited to have ramen after a long drive from Hobart with my partner today. We both ordered ramen dish and it's turned out pretty good.

But the girl that work on the front was not nice at all since we walked through the door. Didn't bother to greet us, then told us that we could have a seat first and she will clean a table for us, she didn't even bother to clean it until we finished our dinner.

After we ordered and paid on the counter, she put the cutlery on our table pretty hard so the all of the chopstick and spoon spill out from the napkin on the table. Didnt even bother to say sorry.

And when we walked out and said thank you, she just replied back with arm crossed, lean against the bench / counter on her back while playing phone with one hand.

I dont know what happened with her, but on our travel across Tasmania, this is the first restaurant that have a...

Needed a ramen fix after a recent trip to Japan. This place is the real deal, with an authentic taste and ingredients. I had the Kuroi Ramen, which was nice and garlicky, however I feel like the broth is lacking depth of flavour. The serving of pork was also quite small, especially for the price. But serving size is spot on, one more bit of pork would've satisfied me.

I also had the Pork Gyoza which were good, but no wow factor about the flavour. Nice and fresh, crispy and soft with a little crispy skirt - Best I've found locally.

In conclusion. I'm eager to come back and try some other ramen and curry dishes and see if one really takes me back to the...
