A vegan, a vegetarian, coeliac sufferer and an omnivore all walk into Earthy Eats...... No, this is not a punchline to a bad joke, they just happen to be friends that all want to be able to sit down and eat somewhere friendly, cosy and nice that is thoughtful enough that it doesn't discriminate against one or the other.
Lovely place to stop by when needing a healthy, tasty fix. Everything is earth conscious, well labled for Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan options and staff are always more than happy to assist you with selecting something to eat.
Unlike some other 'trendy' and sometimes militant eco friendly food cafe's and restaurants, Earthy Eats is a very friendly and laid back cafe with no pretentious or in your face pressures. Read moreI was in Tas on holiday and ate at this restaurant once. That was enough. I was after some kind of Buddha bowl but supposedly that was sold out. So they suggested the falafel with salad. Everything we ordered was sublime and had by far the best coffee I've had in Tasmania. Unfortunately I can't give this place five stars due to the two (out of three) rude staff members that couldn't have been bothered to even say 'hey' when we entered (but managed to scow) and just dumped our coffees and food on the table.
There is also a small grocer in this cafe that sells fresh, local produce and other Tasmanian made goods (candles, tea etc.) A selection of seeds available for purchase (I think? NO instruction)
Overall - worth the visit but apparently some customer service...
