Cafe63 Springwood — Restaurant in Logan City

Food was ok but customer service was horrible. From the time the waitress came to take the order, she was not friendly.

Towards the end of the meal, i asked her for some warmth milk for my son. I was still talking to her when she walked away to another customer.

My friend even commented that it didn’t look like she was listening to me. She came back to ask me how much I wanted. Which she would have known if she waited to hear what I was saying. She said she would ask the person in the kitchen what it would cost.

She came back over 10minutes later to tell me how much it would, to which I agreed that it’s fine, i will get it. She never came back to the table. We got up to pay for the bill as we had to leave. When I said to remove the milk as I am not paying for it (as I still hadn’t received it!) she looked confused and said it wasn’t on the receipt.

Furthermore, she never came back throughout the meal to inquire if we needed anything or check on the meal, which is the norm in other cafes

Left the place dissatisfied, bad start to the day and my poor son didn’t have his milk...

Overcharged $2... :(

Food was absolutely delicous - always is!

But this time I was overcharged. I got the burger breakfast special $6 and a milkshake $5.

When I went to pay I was charged $13. I disputed and explained it should total $11. The waitress then told me that a milkshake is $7, I then argued and said I thought it was $5, she said firmly that its definitely $7 (I think she was getting me mixed up with a thickshake which I definitely did not order and my drink was verryyy milky). To save embarassment incase the menu prices had changed I paid it and left. Upon looking at the menu on your website I was indeed correct.

I sat at table 23 and this was on Friday 27th at approximately 9am. Why did I leave it so long to write a review? I was commuting to America where I am now living for the next few months, I wasn't going to say anything but this has been bothering me. If she does that to every customer - how much more extra money are you making charging people for things they...

Don’t hold your breath for this cafe 63 location. We are frequent visitors to cafe 63, however since we were in the area we decided to visit the Springwood location. Mind you, this location is tiny compared to the others we visit, and much quieter. We waited 15 minutes for someone to take our order. Our drinks were brought out after about 5 minutes which was great! Except from placing our order to receiving our food, we waiting an hour and 15 mins. Which meant by the time our food came the drinks had melted and tasted flat. We watched countless people come in, order, eat and leave all before our food was even served to us. No apology, no acknowledgment of the ridiculous wait time, nothing. We ended up asking what’s up with our order, only to be told it would be next out. Which wasn’t true, another 4 people received their orders before us, who also ordered after us. Not like we ordered anything complicated either, bacon and eggs, and waffles. Safe to say we will not...
