An unforgettable Korean BBQ experience! We came to Teddi’s Big Spoon not knowing quite what to expect—and left completely blown away. This place has easily earned a spot on our list of go-to Korean BBQ joints. Everything from the atmosphere to the food and service was top-notch.

The star of the show is definitely the meat. Every cut we tried was incredibly fresh, beautifully marinated, and grilled to perfection over real charcoal. The pork belly was thick, juicy, and crisped just right. The beef short ribs were tender and flavorful, with a deep, savory glaze that lingered in the best way possible. And the spicy chicken? Perfectly balanced heat and sweetness with just the right amount of char. You can tell they don’t skimp on quality—it’s premium cuts all the way.

The staff were wonderful—friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. They gave us helpful pointers on how long to grill each type of meat, and even offered to help if we needed. Despite how busy the place was, service never felt rushed. There’s something about being able to cook at your table that makes the meal more interactive and fun, especially when you’re with friends or family. The vibe is relaxed but energetic, with the sizzle of meat and laughter in the air. The space is also well-ventilated, so you get all the wonderful smells without feeling overwhelmed or walking out drenched in BBQ smoke.

Came here recently while on our holiday and wanting to eat some Asian food to break the western food streak we’ve been having. Teddi Big Spoon not only satisfy our need, it was better than our expectations

The Teok is interesting. It is deep fried and served with sticky sauce. So a bit different but still very nice and we love the experience

The fried chicken is super moist and juicy. We asked the sauce to be separated so our kids can enjoy it. But as soon as I had it, I had to immediately get a beer from across the street so I can had a proper pairing for this chicken.

Beef bulgogi arguably one of the best I’ve had from any restaurants I’ve been. Delicious!!

Spicy Kimchi Pork Soup was lovey. Had a great kick and was such a great dish to be had in the cool weather of Marg River.

Overall, this place would be at least on my top 3 of Korean restaurants in Perth. Just had to drive a long way to get to it. But locals are definitely spoilt with the presence of Teddis Big Spoon.

Food is good but really bad service. Expect to be kicked out without even time to finish your glass of wine. The dessert was served to us without cutlery, when we asked for it, two spoons were brought to us when there were 3 of us, when we asked for the third, the answer was: we are closing! I had to get a take away plastic cutlery from the counter by my self as none brought me anything. Once we finished our dessert as fast as possible we left with our wine glasses full as we felt we had to leave the table as soon as possible. The kitchen closed at 9, we got up from the table at 9.10. Having worked in restaurants as a waitress I would never have allowed myself to sit at a table for hours after the kitchen closed, but I think the service should be professional and make you feel welcome until the end of your dinner. very...
