Sidekick Cafe — Restaurant in Margaret River

We went on a very busy morning, we were happy to wait and in no rush at all. I wasn't interested in any of the food options, but my partner got a toasted sandwich to go and ordered our coffees to go. I went to iga for a different food option. They called our order, but only gave the food, and my partner politely asked where he should wait for the coffee. The lady barked at him "oh do you want to make your own coffee, because we are busy here" he was a bit taken a back but just stood to the side. Eventually the called our coffee and he brought it out to where I was waiting. I took a sip and immediately knew they had not used the specific milk I need (because I'm allergic to dairy) and the coffee was so badly burnt. By this stage I wasn't interested in waiting for another coffee so just asked for my money back. The woman was so rude, yelling thay they were busy and swearing at me. I didn't respond, just said my coffee order was wrong. They were so rude and I wouldn't reccomendations ever...

UNIQUE PLEASANT CAFE

We enjoyed our cafe and cake experience at the Sidekick Cafe situated next to the Supermarket. Outdoor seating is also available and easy access for those with walkers or wheelchairs. Coffee was smooth and tasty, not bitter. Be sure to ask for a mug if you want a larger cup. The cakes are delicious and homemade. Getting my sumptuous carrot cake heated was not a problem for the courteous staff. A casual comfortable cafe but I'm not sure about the modern appearance of no ceiling which exposes all the plumbing and beams. A delightful experience regardless. They were out of many items and our options were limited. We made a selection, ordered it, and paid. Then that is the time that the clerk decides to tell us we had a 20-30 minute wait. We had 3 items that needed warmed up in the microwave, 3 coffees and a juice. They called our name and only gave us one item. It wasn’t any part of our order. Then they laid food at the counter and I asked who it was for. They told me another customer’s name. It remained there for 5 minutes untouched. It was indeed our order. They need...
