LOVED my experience at YY. I planned to come here since it’s a very cute themed cafe, I loved all the hello kitty, chiikawa and cute trinkets and plushies everywhere! The decor is what drew me in, then the staff were so friendly, I felt so welcomed and taken care of ☺️ Then the food was AMAZING!!! With such a good theme and such nice staff, they could have gotten away with the food just being standard, but we were blown away! I got the beef bulgogi eggs Benedict croissant… 100% the best tasting breakfast I have ever had, and so filling too! The big breakfast is also MASSIVE and eggs were cooked perfectly. The coffee was better than I expected as well! So yummy! They gave me a basket to put my bag in and cute sanrio water pitcher with matching cute cups 🥰 I will definitely be returning! I HAVE to eat that breakfast again! Just the perfect themed cafe with great service and great food and drinks, could not be happier~ YY coffee is bringing kawaii culture to Perth, thank...
Read moreWhat a waste of money -- the only nice thing I can say is that the coffee was okay (could have been stronger) and the staff were friendly.
"Big breakfast" consisted of two tiny chipolatas, two tiny short cuts of bacon and the weirdest tasting/textured scrambled eggs I've ever had- was like eating pure butter. The "grilled tomato" was a half dead unripe tomato that had barely seen the heat- the rest consisted of frozen hash browns and cheap bread.
Chicken and waffles with "creamy maple syrup" was actually just aioli, with a random dollop of sour cream on top- covered in a disgusting amount of crispy shallots, and for some reason a salad with MORE onions? Wanted a sweet savoury dish and got the weirdest thing imaginable, with no indication what the dish actually was on the menu.
What a waste of $50- save your money and go to any of the other excellent options...

Pros: Good service Lovely venue Nice food Good coffee pancakes were AMAZING
Cons: Matcha latte was bitter (which I know is expected with unsweetened matcha but this was even more so) and the very thick consistency meant you couldn’t drink it through the tiny straw provided but the glass bottle cups meant you couldn’t sip it either without pouring it on yourself, meaning we had to wait for it melt more before we could drink which wasn’t ideal. They also didn’t have an alternative apart from offering us a spoon The pictures on Instagram don’t match; we ordered a smashed avo, and it was HALF the size (literally, one egg, one piece of bread, two slices of bacon) of what was advertised online which is a lot to...
