DO NOT EAT HERE!! Save yourself the $$ and your tastebuds… 🤢 My mum and I went because she had read an article that they got an award for being the #1 Pizzeria in Australia this year. We walked in and asked if they room for a walk in of two and the waitress said to us was that we have no room if you have no reservation before checking their reservations. It wasn’t until another waiter came over apologised and said yes we do have room. We ordered the calamari, smoked trout caviar pizza and gorgonzola gnocchi. As you can see below the calamari is very dry and over done, also for $25 it came with no lettuce or side salad. It was under seasoned and there was barely any calamari, mainly batter. We had to drown it in the chilli oil at the table just so it had some flavour. The chilli oil was really nice though, I would definitely buy it at a deli. 2/10 The gnocchi was very tasty but extremely rich, to be expected. We struggled to get through it all but the gnocchi was super soft and pillowy and all in all fabulous. I’m not a huge fan of walnuts so I didn’t have one but they were definitely stale according to my mum who loves them. 6.5/10 I really had hopes for the smoked trout and caviar pizza as it was rated “Australia’s Best Seafood Pizza 2017” but the flavours did not work together. The crust was nice but soggy in the centre. I don’t know why they thought goat’s cheese worked well with the smoked trout, it completely overpowers the rest of the flavours. Also adding olives to an already super salty pizza is just too much. Instead they could’ve opted for some crème fraiche or mozzarella to compliment it. 1/10 I definitely won’t be recommending anyone. Unless you love a good gnocchi there really is no reason to come by. You’re much better off learning to make it yourself or buying one down the road at Baby Pizza or Freddy’s. Very disappointing 😅

Talking about food, we had high expectations from award winning pizza reputation. However, we found pizza to be average, nice crust tough but a little bit too burnt. We tried 2 special dishes, gnocchi and ravioli. We didn't realise at first that we ordered both specials that had pumpkin so the flavor is quite similar. Pasta special: ravioli --> A bit confused by the flavor combination and also pastry on ravioli, not sure why it's there because it doesn't really add anything to the dish. My understanding is that it's for presentation and crunchy element but it didn't lift the dish up at all. Also, the biscuits which is sweet. I assume it was for crunchy element too but it didn't work for me. I felt like I was having dessert more than savory. Gnocchi special --> we can taste pork sausage in the sauce. Gnocchi was good, fluffy but I prefer a little more bite to it for my liking. Crispy kale, a bit oily and didn't give much of a taste or texture. Maybe could have done a bit more to it like flavored coating or crumbs to give it more texture. We don't have a problem with time limit seating. It's understandable and we're quick eaters. The place is a but cramped as we have to move our table for the people next to us in order for them to get out but no big deal, also understandable for the size of the restaurant. Tiramisu was nice, a little too sweet but cocoa powder give a bitter taste to cut through it. Service was okay. Could have been a bit more attentive as we watched wait staffs walking by s few times when our plates are empty for a while. Would I come back? Probably not because it's not worth 45 mins drive to get there. Thank you for your service.

Let me be clear, I hate writing negative reviews for any business... IMHO you do the research and try to avoid places that disappoint but unfortunately it was rated "highly" with tags of "#1 in Australia" and best pizza on the face of the planet and so on and so forth. This place was so disappointing that if my review helps even 1 person to avoid it, it has done its job. There is nothing positive about this place, as a matter of a fact have a look at the 6 or 7 photos I have uploaded before you read the rest... Food & Price: We paid $70-80 for a BURNT pizza, a "gourmet salad" that was nothing but a few [badly] sliced tomatoes and a few bits of cheese and a starter platter of "stuff". The platter had some super authentic PRE PACKAGED bread sticks from [I assume] "Italy" that tasted so stale that I wouldn't feed my pet hamster if I had one! Meats were bad, olives bitter and things on the platter didn't belong together. I love Italian food and gourmet pizzas that have a base that blisters with unique [very little] toppings but paying for this was an insult. Service and environment: The very young lady who served us was doing her best and it was appreciated but you would have to be a miracle worker to make what comes out of this kitchen acceptable. The older gentleman who initially greeted us was rude, couldn't care less and kept us waiting for 20 mins even though there were unreserved empty tables. Restaurant lighting, fitout and ambience was not great. Good luck and thank you, not for me!

EDIT2: Email you how? None listed on your website. I assume that response is just a PR flex.

EDIT: Woke up middle of night and have been sick from both ends for 2 hours and counting

In brief (and I’m trying to be gentle): Service- Good, the staff were really nice kids.

Calamari- Over salted and unpleasant. Mayo/aioli was a liquid-cardboard nothing.

Arancini (w/ guanciale)- Have had far better and fresher pre-made takeaway arancini to be heated at home. Stale, ordinary, and tasted oooold. Like Elizabethan old. AWFUL.

Pizza- Base too doughy and chewy, like a bagel but not in a good way. Mushroom/truffle pizza smelled great but thinly sliced shrooms were rubbery and whole thing was meh. Grated cheese strands flavourless and unmelted. The cheese might have been meant to be that way but if so, need a cheese with discernible flavour. Capricciosa was barely okay, ham hinting at slimey, mostly lacking flavour but highly inconsistent slice to slice.

Kitchen looked pretty chill so can only assume it’s this poor by lazy design.

Wine- Unremarkable. Barbera, nebbiolo, gamay were perfunctory, nebb best of bunch with some small amount of tannin.

We were late and that’s on us, but even the full 90m would be rushed for a real dinner and savouring a bottle of wine, let alone 2 or 3. We drove for almost as long. Turning tables is fine, if you want to expose more people to your food. This place would be better off drawing it out, making drinks money, and delaying food delivery for an hour so people are smashed before they try it.

They are doing a roaring trade (there was a queue when we left), but I definitely would not eat this again voluntarily. Family was REALLY annoyed about the food, which surprised me because they’re fairly easygoing, and we went to another restaurant afterwards. I feel queasy, as did everyone who tried my pizza. 😒

Had minimal expectations yet still seriously below par. Now that I think about it, I suspect the menu asks diners not to alter menu items because they’re prepared so far in advance. Just speculating, but it lines up with the...

I can’t fault the food ! Simply great quality at a fair price . However the service could had been handled in a more polite manner instead it was the opposite . We were a table of 3 with a 6.30 pm start . 2 of us did arrive late , however upon the first arrival there was an issue with our booking and I had to send a text message to my friend already there with confirmation of booking to Prove it . Upon my arrival I straight away apologised to our lovely Italian waiter for our delay and no problems at all were raised . We ordered and during all of it no time frame was ever given to us on our booking … no mention whatsoever that we only had a short time due to next booking at 8 pm . Our wine arrived then food and within 20 to 30 minutes in a lady which I assume was the manager come to us and told us we had to leave ! Our food was half way only , the bill was put into our table and we were rushed out . I did say but we still eating !!! I politely and trying to understand the times covid lock downs etc then asked if we could at least finish our wine outside … and take the rest of pizza home … that should had been offered to us instead of even me suggesting ! We made it work again respecting tough times , but while outside not much of a service was given to us , in fact I asked for 2 extra glasses of wine and was told that a waiter was going to come and take the order , which never happened . So we just left !… it was freezing by the way . In times such as this you do not treat clients that way , yes , I was late but simply because of staying back for a client … see the irony ?? The matter could had been resolved in a Totally diferente manner where the manager failed to see the business opportunity instead of focusing solely on getting the other booked in . In this case she might have upset 2 lots if bookings when could had maximised both with better communication and selling skills . When I used the toilet facilities there were bar tables free ! That was never suggested to even move there ! Bottom line - bad management and communication. We could had spend...

We ordered a Di Parma pizza from their food truck during the Moomba festival and was told it'd be about 5 mins by a gentleman who was friendly. We ordered around 22:14 and was kept waiting 25 mins, people who had ordered AFTER us, even the very last person, got their pizza before us. I went up to the truck about half way through our waiting time, around 22:25 and the guy said ours was next and pointed to a pizza box, only for us to watch him hand the box to another customer. Eventually we go up to the truck around 22:39 and the guy has all of a sudden forgotten who we are, kept spitting out names and I had to remind them only to find out they had FORGOTTEN our order. My girlfriend had asked for a refund and he said it's right here. It was 22:45 by this point.

So we took the pizza kind of hesitantly, the guy apologised and I said thanks, despite both of us being pretty infuriated at this point and my girlfriend had lost her appetite cause we had waited so long and we were super disappointed that other people who ordered after us, I'm not talking 2 or 3 people but around 5 people who also had bigger orders, had received their pizzas before us.

The disappointment was only made worse because we found the pizza base was badly burned underneath. That said the flavours otherwise were okay and would have potentially redeemed the situation if it wasn't badly burnt.

I normally give places chances for stuffing up because I work in retail, I understand an error might happen in any customer service environment, but not this place. Forget our order, make us wait 30 mins AND burn the pizza? Never going here again, we ended up throwing 3/4 of the pizza out because I literally couldn't bother walking 5m to ask for a refund, it likely would have ended with me in cuffs because I was that furious. It's a food truck, if we wanted to wait 30 mins for food, we'd have dined in at a proper restaurant. Our special night was pretty much ruined, it's moomba, no one goes to moomba to be disappointed, my girlfriend was so bummed out and almost in tears. We ended up going to 7/11...
