The worst customer service I've ever experienced! If I could do 0 star I definitely do it, worse than 0 should be negative! The kitchen is filthy and dirty, especially the bowl where we put the noodles. I've attended Glen and Chadstone Master of Lanzhou several times; both were better, and everyone there was polite. This one showed the most terrible service I've ever received; I can't sleep at night! (I will show what’s happened in details):
I came to the store on 8th of May, 2024 after I saw my GP, I need to get some simple hot noodles due to the cold. They got the set to the menu but did not show you. When I bought the noodles and dishes separately, the cashier charged me $20.7. I noticed that the set only displayed $17.9. I inquired if I could have the price difference back (changed to the set from the menu), and she refused right away, saying that after you paid, we couldn't refund it. I'm confused because I paid more money for fewer items, and the set menu included an extra egg. I did not want a full refund; instead, I requested whether I could receive the price difference or simply refund the dish. The cashier printed up the receipt as quickly as she could and showed it to me, after my request. I used to work in a restaurant, and it's really simple to change the set from the system or simply post avoid then redo it.
The cashier asked another Dongbei lady, who they said was the leader. This leader’s attitude was nasty, even worse than the cashier. She said I was blind since I didn't see the set on the menu, and it wasn't their business. How impolite and foolish she is!! I cannot believe I received the worst customer service here!
Following my friendly communicate, the leader offered to give me the dish money back as store credit, which I could use next time. How ridiculous and crazy is it that the restaurant has store credit like a luxury brand?? If they could provide the credit, why couldn't she return the money back? They had the set but didn't remind you, and even if you chose the exact same products from the set, they would charge you extra! I don't want to spend any more time with them, so I requested to give me the credit. The Dongbei leader then became extremely pushy, claiming that she had just presented me with these options, but I refused. Now I can only receive the dish money back, the noodles, which I must have right now, or have them taken away.
I was upset since I had to go back as soon as possible due to family concerns; I told her this, and she said, "If you are in a hurry, you should not stay with us for so long. Any problems with your family are none of my business; it's only a $3 difference; why are you worried about it?" I'm not sure why she said that, 3 dollars is still the money. Is she wealthy enough to chuck $3? She spent over 40 minutes with me and told me it was only $3, so why should I concern.
I need to leave at that time, so I asked for a solution. She changed her comments again, saying, "I'm not going to give you any credit right now because you didn't want it and I changed my mind." She stated the only thing I could do now is leave; when I doubted her how I would know if it was my food, she said if I was blind.
I've never seen someone like her; she was rude, unpleasant, aggressive and mean!!! How horrible is customer service like this? Will she treat your food well if she can say these things to customers? All of my words are true, and I have a recording of my conversation with the Dongbei lady. I have all of the evidence to back up my allegations, please avoid this awful guy and this restaurant. They did not respect you, especially if you were the only one present, they would direct all of the staff's attention to you and put you under pressure. I'm not sure how much they earn every day, even luxury brands can provide refunds, but they can't do it before the food arrives. I won't come back, but I hope everyone sees my...

The noodles are freshly hand-pulled for every serving and they were cooked to perfection. The soup base was very clean and flavourful. You have to get spring onion, coriander, and chilli to elevate the dish – or else you’re doing it wrong lol. The side dishes were great compliments to the mains. I love cucumber salad. It can be done in so many different ways and I would still devour it all. The lamb skewers were amazing!! These were big and plump lamb pieces. A lot of other skewer restaurants often give you teeny tiny lamb pieces, but not here; these were fantastic. The dumplings were perfectly balanced and had the right ratio of beef to chive. We ended the night with the fermented glutinous rice and at first, it was a bit funky, but we actually ended up enjoying it a lot!
1915 Lanzhou beef kindly invited me to try out their menu but this wasn’t my first visit. I introduced my relatives to this place and they...
