POOR SERVICE & AVERAGE FOOD - I have never written a restaurant review before. this is my first. my dad & I dined @ Beijing impressioni for the 1st time yesterday 7/7/21. I had an average experience both food and service. which I would have given 3 stars, but the reason for 1 star is because when my dad attempted to pay the meal on his credit card, he heard the transaction sound twice, he was concerned and worried that his card was charged twice. the man appearing like the boss/manager didn't have a nice mannerism when he was dealing with this matter. he tried to dismiss my dad by saying , the machine only charged once, there is nothing to worry about, the machine is reliable. i trust this machine is reliable. we walked away, and i told my dad to go to the bank and check as he is not tech savy otherwise he could check on his mobile straight away. What i didn't like about this service was, the man did not have a kind attitude. he was just not friendly, also i have had an experience in the past where my credit card was accidently charged twice by a restaurant, so the fact this man was so adamant to trust the eftpos machine got me speechless. human error, technology error happens all the time. he could been more humble and kind and have said, i believe the transaction only went through once, but if you noticed we have charged you twice, please come back and we will happily refund you straight away! Is your business a fast food restaurant? Do your customers need to find themselves a table, clean it up, then work out seating?
It is recommended that you train you FRONT RECEPTION MAN with RESPECT, COURTESY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
We booked a table of 13 a week ago and if you do not have a big enough table to accommodate us, do advise at the time of booking.
Your front man with the glasses just pointed to biggest table (8 person ) you had and practically asked us to work it out, he then left us for at least 15min whilst he chatted on the phone.
He did not intend to nor recommended any solution. We had kids and elderly family members trying to find plastic chairs. This is absolutely RIDICULOUS.
Another recommendation for your employees are if the lazy-susan is full, don't just leave plates of food Infront of a guest. THINK and work out a solution ( i.e. take dishes that are nearly finished and transfer it onto a smaller plate to make room)
Lastly, do not THREATEN your Customers by asking a security guard to talk to us. Even the security guard was apologetic. You should consider employing her as your front...

Not displayed.Checked website to look at menu…. not displayed! Phoned and left a message expecting a return call later, when open. Reply …Nothing. Phoned back later in the day when they were open, person on phone unfortunately could not speak English, handed to another person and I was given as my intro as “ Australian”! The next representative could not offer me where to get a menu. I asked, “ is it the same as Sydney Restaurant if the same name?” Told me to send a message to customer service on WE CHAT, he cant tell me if it is the same……. You will understand, I believe I have spent enough energy trying to make a booking for our group of 6 people. I do not want to continue with the bad experience and have it transferred to the meal with my friends. I wonder whether the management of this establishment take any notice of these reviews and determine they may have some serious shortcomings???
