AB Bakery offers a mixed experience that teeters between promising and needs improvement. The potential for a standout bakery is there, but a few key areas need attention.
The Good: Cheese Pides: The cheese pides are a highlight, with a delicious flavor that's worth savoring. The cheese was of excellent quality.
Lebanese Sweets: The variety of Lebanese sweets available is commendable and offers a good range for dessert lovers. We had the Petit feurs and it was very good Customer Service: Despite the hiccups, skip the queue for few customers, the lady baker showed a nice gesture by giving extra pizza as compensation for the wait. Didn't expect that. Good intentions. The pastry was thin for the meat pizza which is the way it should be.
The Need to improve: Stock Management: The bakery ran out of pastries, which was a letdown, due to a rush. Few people were waiting for kitchen to produce new stock. Needed attention to prioritize first in first served, bit frustrated waiting for a while especially when seeing orders given to customers who arrived after us. Food Handling: The pizzas were stacked on top of each other while still hot, causing them to stick together. The lack of paper between them led to the meat pizza falling apart also due to rushing to bring out pizza it was under cooked.
Overall Experience: AB Bakery has the potential to be exceptional with more attention to detail. The prices are excellent, especially for the pizzas, making it a budget-friendly option. However, to truly stand out, they need to prepare for the crowd earlier, With these improvements, it could become a go-to spot for delicious baked goods. After all it is an excellent place to have a snack the place needs some tlc, everyone had good attitude and I am sure it is better and maybe this visit was the wrong timing. But for sure I will...

Collected all of my middle eastern essentials/ goodies and inquired that there was no frozen molokhia in the freezer, the young guy serving me was unsure but a young man that looked like he was in charge said he would check the storeroom freezer and bring me some packets….. waiting, waiting… he appears from the front of restaurant then into the kitchen supervising and directing staff… looks at me and says ok will check now. Comes back with what I require and says he will serve me, then is distracted by a customer that has ordered coffee and proceeded to make coffee…… im 20minutes in and that's enough of that…. micromanaging staff! You have lost me found a much better Middle East supermarket awesome products …. Thank you...
Read moreI visited this bakery which came highly recommended, but my experience was unfortunately disappointing. Upon entering, I found the establishment nearly empty, with three staff members standing behind the counter. I waited for a moment, hoping someone would attend to me, but my presence went unnoticed. I attempted to make eye contact with a male server who was closest to me, yet I was completely ignored.
To my dismay, a man entered shortly after me, and the male server not only acknowledged him but also proceeded to serve him, despite my being there first. This experience left me feeling invisible and undervalued as a customer. It is disheartening to encounter such disregard, and as a result, I have decided not to return to a place that treats its patrons in this manner. There is simply no justification for...
