We dined at the restuarant tonight - there are two parts - the wine bar & the restuarant. The restuarant had a set menu @ $98 per person and if you wanted to pair wines it was an additional $68 per person which was very reasonable The entrée’s were to share and we had the oysters as well, followed by wagyu steak beautifully cooked with a smokey flavour. After reading the reviews I was exited to visit however the experience was quite disappointing. I realise the place is new and the staff may still be in training but apart from the sommelier the service seemed rushed and disorganised. Despite have my steak cooked 'as the chef would recommend' I found it tough and difficult to cut/eat. As such I left most on the plate and surprisingly it was whisked away without any enquiry. The 4 of us had 3 courses and wines. The food was done to perfection. My son and husband ordered the scotch fillet - dead give away of a perfectly done steak - was their ‘hmmm yes’ in unison as they took their first bite.

Steak tartare was done the traditional way - endorsed by the European dining with us.
