I ordered lemon chicken, and it came completely covered in oil. Also, for the first time in my life, I was served Amritsari fish with tamarind sauce — on the menu, it clearly says it comes with mint chutney. When I called to ask about it, the front-of-house staff told me they give all fried items with tamarind sauce. I’ve been working in a hospitality for the last nine years, and I’ve never experienced such an attitude from staff They didn’t seem to care about customer satisfaction at all. Very disappointing experience — I don’t think I’ll be going back.

Love Royal E, and I am so impressed with the new naans. Really really good naan now. My only comment is that it's hard to want to dine in because of the lighting. The fluorescent lights are really horrible. It's like dining in a hospital. I've never seen lighting like this in a restaurant. If you add some wall lamps, or dimmer lighting I promise you'll get a ton more people sitting down to eat. Will still always get our take aways here regardless. Staff are lovely and food is always made with care.

Terrible service. Terrible food. I ordered butter chicken and virtually got butter soup with a few pieces of chicken. Called the restaurant and she told me the only way to fix it is if I order again something small like papadum (pay delivery and an extra $4) so pay an extra $9… pay money for their stuff up…. My mango lassi was spilling everywhere due to poor packaging and the garlic naan was cold with garlic only covering half the naan. Don’t buy from here!

Hope this place was vegetarian-friendly, and the kitchen served only Vegetarian and Vegan food. 6 out of 10 times the place usually maintains good quality and delivers tasty vegetarian-food except for days when maybe the Head Cook or Chef is exhausted/overworked or tired or they hand in items that are not fresh and may had been prepared few days ago.

To increase their orders and customer base, the place should offer some discount deals to regular customers or for orders above a certain amount; as the prices are bit on a higher side.

The place is closed during day time and opens only on evening hours. Long before, they used to offer Lunch Buffets to customers; Alas, no more.

Easy connectivity to Train, Tram and Bus services as it is next to crossing of Moreland Station and Sydney Road. Upfield line trains and Tram #19 has a Stop almost right in front of it, while Moreland Station is merely a 1...

Nah nah! It was all empty and should have taken the hint there! I should have turned around from the interior itself, but went in there to try my guts. Failed miserably, take the hint from the rating. Lets talk about the food: Vegetable chopsi - Good, quantity is sufficient for 4 Paneer Tikka Masala - Have they (chef) ever had it elsewhere, it was not tikka masala. It was orange and food coloring all over the plate, fingers, lips, tongue, stomach, and so on. Dal makhni - They served it all so quickly and with the starters itself, that they didnt boil the 'daal' properly. Tandoori platter - Mushroom and Paneer, undone (didnt prepare it well) and went unfinished. Punjabi Chicken Curry - That chicken died...
