Large range of meals including breakfast, brunch, pancakes, lunches burgers, pasta etc. You can eat inside, out the front of shop or in the cute courtyard at the back. The serving sizes were surprisingly large while not expensive. About $17 for a full breakfast (eggs ,bacon ,mushrooms, avocado ,tomato,) Well cooked with good quality bacon and an entire 1/2 avocado. Coffee was hot and tasty in big mugs. I noticed other meals going past were equally large in size compared to other cafe’s in the area. Lots of yummy cakes available too. Best cafe in Melbourne. Every time I look around for a brunch spot I can never find anything as good as Cafe Opera and end up coming back here. Amazing variety of menu options, and everything I have tried has been delicious, especially the pancakes! Everything is also quite affordable. Friendly, helpful staff who always deliver. Never had to wait too long regardless of how busy they are. Really great atmosphere, especially in the back of house area. This used to be the best cafe in Chelsea, but has changed hands since then to its detriment. Upon arrival, the table was greasy for which we requested it to be wiped, the meals came out apart at long intervals, the food is unappetising and very plain, there is no atmosphere present at all.
