This evening I ordered my usual Seafood Mee Gorang with thin egg noodles wirh mild spice, and Sweet and Sour Pork on rice. Upon arriving home we discovered the Mee Gorang had thick rather than thin egg noodles (no biggie), and in addition it was so spicey hot that it was ineddible. Sometimes we forget to ask for 'mild' and it comes hot but not nearly as hot as it came tonight. I called to explain what I had received. The guy on the phone agreed to making a new one. Because Omega 3 does not deliver I reasoned that by the time I go out and come back the Sweet and Sour Pork would be cold. The guy understood and agreed to make a new one. When I arrived I was only given the Mee Gorang. The owner said she had tried to phone me to tell me to bring the dishes in. As I was driving, I clearly missed the call. I queried why I would need to bring the dishes in. One of the rude staff accused me of just wanting two meals for free, like I am some sort of cheap skate. Another rude staff member told me it was standard practice for customers to bring the food back and insinuated that I must not have much common sense. I asked how often customers had to bring their food back and he replied 'all the time'! The owner told me it was so she could reheat my Sweet and Sour Pork for me, to which I questioned the food safety standards of such a policy. The guy on the phone was standing right there and completely verified our agreement on the phone. What astounded me was that the staff felt the need to chime in, one at a time, with an argument based on their ill-formed understanding of what had happened and with the intent to attack my character. One even called me a sook as I was leaving. All I wanted tonight was to get what I ordered and the ability to eat a hot meal. Omega 3 failed in providing what I ordered and instead of keeping a long time customer and making recompense for their errors by replacing the cold incorrect serve with a hot one, they decided to argue, make aspersions about my character, and reveal substandard food...
Read moreOn our little excursion to Chelsea we visited Omega 3 for some good quality fish and ccchhhhiiipppssss, however by the time we drove back along the road we were slightly irritated. Upon walking in to the shop it was ok, seemed nice. Ordered some chips and sit down on a torn seat which was uncomfortable on the arse. When we collected the chips we weren't angry, just disappointed in the size of the serving for the price. Whilst in the shop multiple staff members were just standing around picking at their finger nails and staring at the customers, clearly not thinking about anyone but themselves. To be honest I have had melted cheese on a paper plate which tasted better than the food which was served in this store. We were trying to stand up for what matters at the Chelsea Pier but after eating this food I don't feel I will even return to the...
Read moreTheir fish and chips are awesome, probably the best around. Their new noodle section leaves a lot to be desired. The "curry laksa" they served didn't have half the stuff they advertised, although it was jam packed with chicken. I've never had cabbage in a laksa...can't say I enjoyed it. The prawn crackers were also stale (tried them the day I bought them so no reason for that). Basically if you are looking for asian food go else where if you are looking for fish and...
