I’ve ordered from this pizza place before and had a great experience, but after today, I won’t be returning.
Last week, I ordered the Tandoori Chicken pizza through Uber Eats, and it arrived exactly as advertised—with a tandoori base. It was delicious. However, when I placed the exact same order today, it arrived with a tomato base, completely covered in chili flakes—none of which were mentioned on the menu.
I called the store to clarify, and the first person who answered immediately yelled at me, insisting that no pizzas come with a tandoori base, before putting me on hold. The second staff member I spoke to spent 10 minutes gaslighting me, claiming the menu never listed a tandoori base and that I must be mistaken—despite the fact that I was reading it out to them in real-time.
Rather than acknowledging the clear false advertising, they argued that because "no other customer had complained," there was nothing wrong with my order. They refused to issue a refund, saying only the manager could approve one—but conveniently, the manager wasn’t in.
The lack of accountability and customer service was shocking. I had to plead to get my refund request even considered, which is unacceptable when the food was misrepresented.
If you value consistency and respectful service, I’d recommend...
Read moreI've recently moved to the area and am happy to say that, over the past 6 weeks, whenever my girlfriend goes out for the evening, ordering a Crisp pizza and kicking back has become a ritual.
What's particularly great about Crisp pizzas' is that not only do they taste great - and the ingredients they use are quality and the pizzas are not oily - but there is a such a variety to the menu. The menu options are markedly different from one another: some simple tasty gems like the Pepperoni, Chilli and Mint; and others sauce doused delicious monsters like the Spiced Lamb or Spanish Prawns or The Lot. There's been some pizzas that I haven't loved but that just makes more keen to try something else on the menu next time.
I particularly recommend opting for the half/half option at $1 extra to be able to sample the full extent of the Crisp menu.
I haven't ever visited the shop but the delivery driver, Gautam (aka Hari), is always nice.
I also met a drunk Irish couple on Racecourse Road once who were eating a Crisp pizza. They were raving about it and the shop. I take that as...

They had a buy one get one free on Uber eats. I ordered two large pizzas. One regular and one large arrived after I paid for two large.
I called to see if we could resolve the mistake and the guy just went in circles, referencing the amount paid - A regular pizza is $17.90, an upgrade to a large is $3. My total came to $23.90 - an increase of $6. 2x3 = 6 last I checked.
So I paid $6 for two large upgrades yet this guy was adamant he was correct, arguing with me for about ten minutes contradicting himself the entire way.
To top it off the pizza tasted like somebody sat on a cheese slice on a bed of cardboard. Trash.
This is why they lost the Ashes. All yap, no...
