Nov 2024: Thoroughly enjoyed a few very beautifully tasting breakfast at Daybreak cafe, during the time my family and I was relocated to a Quest apartment nearby. I am so glad they had some partnership with this cafe as there were many interesting choices such as soft shell crab omelettes and a “spiced” avocado smash vegetarian option. The chill and bright atmosphere with quiet easy listening background music and very enjoyable coffee just made it all the more blessed to start my day. Thank you for your friendly smiles service! Update: August 2025: Still the best exquisite breakkie cafe around. Menu has some new additions like the Baby Bay Scallop Scramble and the Chilli Crab Yuzu Scramble. Both were absolutely delicious and beautifully plated. Coffee is still so good here and the Ginger Beets Juice Zingy and “da bomb!”Thanks Daybreak for a great start to our morning!

Nice new addition to docklands Mostly a breakfast-focused cafe in the woolworths dominated building. Food is innovative modern asian- Australian fusion. It's the kind of place you would go for a quick breakfast / caffeine hit. Staff are friendly. When we went, the service was quite slow, with one dish coming out cold after we queried the delay and the other some time later... to be fair, the staff did offer an additional item at no charge but we were on a time limit with the free 90 minute parking deal. People with mobility issues will probably be better off in the outdoor seating area as the indoors section is fairly tight and there are stairs to negotiate in the middle of the dining area. There is a $20 lunch deal but this is only available on weekdays.

The thoughtful gestures of the staff truly enhanced our visit, making it a memorable and heartwarming experience. Ample car parking is conveniently available at this location, with an open car park situated adjacent to the cafe and additional parking on levels above.

This Cafe is a welcome addition to the District. I'll just throw up a (hopefully) constructive pros and cons list of my first experience here.

Pros friendly service bright and fresh interior

Cons The general price point for meals is about 20-25% too high for the usual demographic that pass through this area of the District. You're running a mall cafe but charging the same price for meals as a higher end waterfront restaurant like Cargo or Berth. $20 for muesli or $30 for lunch is simply just too expensive, please believe me. People in Docklands just want a reasonably priced, healthy place to get lunch. The burger I ordered was sprayed with oil, the bun was super glossy with a film of oil over it. the tiny fries that came with it were over cooked and 80% of them were rock hard and oil saturated. Please just chill out on the oil a bit in general. I could taste a weird tangy after taste of oil throughout...
