I was really looking forward to this place after seeing reviews and photos. Yesterday I went in for lunch, we were the only 2 in there to begin with, so the server was attentive enough. We ordered Cheesy Corn Chicken Katsu $48, Saffron Turmeric Beef Satay $51 -and added Udon Noodles - EXTRA $9 (yes $60 for satay beef and noodles) with Mini Apple Pie Treasure Chest $24 for dessert. The Katsu was nice enough, however small for near on $50. When the Satay came out I was surprised that there was hardly any beef and the noodles made up 95% of the dish. If we hadn't chosen to add the udon noodles (at an extra +$9) I think the beef/onions would have fit on a small side plate. I was no more than 3 bites into the Satay dish when something felt weird in my mouth and after spitting the food out, found there was a long thread of steel wool (Brillo Pad) in amongst the noodles. I called the server over who apologised & asked if we wanted it replaced, we declined. We moved onto the dessert which was nice, however sweet and finished up the meal. When the server bought over the bill I was expecting the satay dish to have been taken off, or at the very least the drinks & or dessert removed..... however there it was in its $60 satay glory - no discount in sight! I honestly couldn't believe it...... I've worked in hospitality and wouldn't have dreamt of charging the guest for a meal they had found a dirty piece of brillo pad in. I am lucky it didn't cut my mouth.... I mean there was dirty WIRE was in my food and the server said 'sorry', like it was nothing. Perhaps it happens there all the time, but I can safely say its a first for me. Extremely poor form, I was so so disappointed. If you're looking for somewhere to eat in Docklands I would suggest walking past this one! It'll cost a small fortune for small servings and you may come out needing to visit the Dr or dentist.

✨ A Gourmet Birthday Dream at Pink Rabbit – Docklands’ Hidden Gem ✨ If you’re after a celebration that blends luxury, magic, and mouthwatering food, look no further than Pink Rabbit at Docklands! 💕🐇🎉 We hosted our daughter’s 7th birthday party here and were absolutely blown away by the experience — all thanks to the incredible owner, Peter, whose warmth, creativity, and passion made every moment unforgettable. Nothing is ever too much for Peter — he truly goes above and beyond to craft a memorable and personalised experience for every guest. 💫🐰🐇🐰🐇 The themed decor was straight out of a fairytale ✨ — a Princess Unicorn Butterfly wonderland brought to life with gorgeous Alice-inspired cutlery, pastel florals, and whimsical touches that wowed both kids and adults. 🎀🦄🦋 Let’s talk about the food — next-level gourmet! 🍛🍽️ We had a customised vegetarian-friendly menu that was both vibrant and indulgent. From velvety curries to perfectly spiced plates, every dish was crafted with finesse and plated beautifully. You could tell the chefs care deeply about flavour and presentation. Pure culinary joy! 😋🌿🌶️ And then came the cake… 🎂✨ A heavenly, soft, light-as-air butterfly cake that was lovingly made for the kids — a stunning centrepiece that tasted just as incredible as it looked. It was delicate, dreamy, and the perfect sweet ending to a magical day. For our group of 15 (including kids), the service was flawless. Attentive, warm, and seamless from beginning to end. 💕 Peter and his team created a space where every guest felt celebrated 🫶🏻 📍If you’re visiting ARTVO or Docklands Harbour Town, make sure to stop by Pink Rabbit. This place is more than a restaurant — it’s an experience, a celebration of food, family, and fine details. ✨ Highly recommend pre-booking — trust me, you’ll want to secure your spot at this Docklands treasure!

ORDERED: 🍟 Steak Chips: with sweet chilli & homemade mayo ($16.00) 🦀 Crab claws: dipped in satay, coated in crispy breadcrumbs ($23.00) 🐟 Salmon ceviche: zesty honey sesame mango, apple & shallots ($26.00) 🌮 Spicy mango lobster taco: stuffed with blue butter pea coconut rice ($46.00) 🌮 Salmon sashimi: jalapeno, apple, cucumber, soy & sesame ($45.00) + saturday surcharge (5%) + service charge (1.65%) This was $88.00pp here, which included a mocktail each. REVIEW: ⭐ Favourite dish that I would recommend is the crab claws! Moist crab meat, the crispiest outer layer. It's delicious and tender at the same time. The best crab claws I've had. ‼️Least favourite was the tacos. Unfortunately, the sweetness from the blue butter pea coconut rice really threw me off. I don't expect sweetness when I bite into tacos and I did provide the feedback! They've said they're thinking about reducing the amount of blue rice in the tacos so when you go, there might be less sweetness so you could enjoy this dish more. I did appreciate how the team added a layer of salmon/lobster in the middle because you never fully take a big enough bite! 🔺 Doritos chips were also a strange and overwhelming addition to the salmon ceviche. I preferred eating these separately. 📖 Apparently Tho Tho operates better on bookings. So when we walked in, we were informed that it would be in our best interest (for time) to order from the small, taco & bao section because there was only 1 person in the kitchen on a Saturday for lunch! The commitment to the Alice in Wonderland theme is impressive, along with the decor. Definitely felt like being in a fever dream. 🐇
