This is our first time trying Indian-fusion desserts from Dessert Corner and we are now obsessed! ๐Ÿคฉ

Dessert Corner is a food truck located in Clayton (where we visited) and in Truganina. In Clayton they are next to Crocs Playcentre and in front of M-City Shopping Centre, so you wonโ€™t need to worry about parking ๐Ÿ˜‰

We tried: ๐Ÿฐ Classic Cassata The cake was really soft! Each layer was very flavorful and they worked perfectly with each other (Pistachio, Mango, Orange, Vanilla, Cashew)

๐Ÿจ Rabri with Gulab Jamun Rabri is a condensed-milk-based dish and Gulab Jamun is made from milk reduced to the consistency of a soft dough. Just by these Wikipedia description alone they already sound so good and they definitely blew our mind! The Gulab Jamun was so squishy ๐Ÿ˜

๐Ÿฐ Rasmalai Tres Leches Amazing flavors and great texture from the milk-soaked-cake ๐Ÿ˜‹ This was so easy to eat and it quickly dissolved in our mouth and we couldnt put it down.

๐Ÿน Mango Falooda Personally this was my favorite! This reminds me of Indonesian dessert with the dense milkshake, crunchy & chewiness textures of the toppings, definitely a perfect to-go snack.

All desserts are Vegetarian Friendly, No Egg, No Alcohol, and No Gelation ๐Ÿƒ

Overall we really loved everything we tried ๐Ÿฅฐ The sweetness level of each item was perfect. We felt that the price vs portion is perfect, especially knowing that the ice creams are freshly made every morning and quality ingredients are used! Weโ€™d never visit Clayton without stopping by...

Late night Indian fusion dessert fix! ๐Ÿคฉ Decent variety of falooda, kulfi sticks, tres leches, cassata ice cream, thick shakes, and rabri. My favourites were the kulfi falooda and rabri jalebi - loved how all the desserts were not too sweet! Staff were also welcoming and eager to help with recommendations. Their Clayton store (opposite M-City) is surrounded with about three Indian food truck businesses - no wonder it was a busy spot with locals. Looks like dinner and dessert sorted for next visit! ๐Ÿ’“

๐Ÿฅ› ๐“๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ ๐‹๐ž๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ฌ ($6) - spongey milk cake soaked in rich and creamy Rasmalai, aromatic saffron flavour.

๐Ÿจ ๐Š๐ฎ๐ฅ๐Ÿ๐ข ๐…๐š๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐๐š ($11) - have tried these separately so when I saw this, it was an instant order (also the first dessert to be demolished). Kulfi is a dense frozen dessert, often described as Indian ice cream. Falooda is creamy and sweet like a milkshake, with a floral fragrance and flavour. Lots of texture from the sev (vermicelli noodles), nuts, and dried fruits.

๐Ÿงก ๐‘๐š๐›๐ซ๐ข ๐‰๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐›๐ข ($8) - creamy and thick milk based dessert with cardamon, saffron and pistachio flavours. This paired perfectly with the crispy Jalebi- a traditional spiral shaped Indian sweet dipped in sugar syrup. When eaten together the sweetness was balanced well!

๐Ÿฐ ๐‚๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐œ ๐‚๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ๐š๐ญ๐š ($7)- compared to the other three bolder desserts, this was a light flavoured layered ice cream cake (pistachio, mango, orange tutti frutti) with a...

It all started with an idea. Dessert Corner had the passion to not just only make desserts, but also to showcase it with their unique Indian twist. For me, I never had it before, and it will not be the last, because it was so bloody good. In the elite category. Without any knowledge of Indian sweets, the friendly staff helped me in choosing the three desserts that made me crave for more after every bite. We got ourselves the Tres Les Thick Shake, the Cassataย  Ice Cream and lastly the BROWNIE with Vanilla ice cream. My goodness were they delicious.ย  The winner was definitely the Tres Les Thick Shake, absolutely perfect sweet with full of texture to our liking. Dessert Corner worked extremely hard to create suchย  beautiful desserts that will make you come back for more. I definitely would come back and coming here all the way from Ballarat. These guys source local ingredients so you know you're always getting the best ๐Ÿ‘Œ. Dessert corner currently have three locations in Clayton which I went, Truganina and in Clayton South. All three locations are as food trucks but in all seriousness, they deserve to have a standalone store too. It is that good. Expect me to come back when you guys hopefully one...
