Gorgeous hidden brewery and bar tucked in a quiet street serving beers, wine, spirits, cocktails and more with an Aussie Sri Lankan menu.

My workmates invited me to join them one night, we had a reservation of around 10+ people and were seated indoors at the back. We ordered a variety of things - fries, calamari, tandoori chicken, pizzas, rotating tap beers, lemonade and one non alcoholic beer for myself (that's what my photo is of). Everything came within a decent amount of time and was absolutely delicious, I highly recommend you grab their tandoori chicken, pepperoni pizza, beers and fries. Their non alcoholic beer was also really nice.

The staff were lovely and very helpful with the lot of us trying to figure out what to get. The interior is gorgeous and takes you back into Melbourne's olden manufacturing buildings with its old red brick walls and brewery parts. The bar has two large tvs (one at the front and back) playing separate sports games, seats for individuals and long tables for groups as well as an outdoor seating area. I'm thinking I'll come back around for the FIFA World Cup games. I didn't get a lot of photos since we were all chatting, eating and watching the TV.

I recommend this bar to everyone,...

Tucked away in an industrial area, this renovated factory is a great place to hang out with friends and even kids. Craft beers are made here so you can have tastings if you're a beer connoisseur. There's a front bar with a wide screen TV (an AFL game was on) as well as a back area with ample seating. There isn't a working kitchen on the premises (a work in progress) but you can order sliders and chips from down the road. The selection is: Pulled Pork, Beef, Bacon and Cheese, Chicken Schnitzel and Veggie. The chips are sensational. Best ever. It was very filling and only $10 and pretty quick. I hear their are plans to bring some entertainment to the place which would be great. Ample street parking as well. Staff were super friendly...

Lovely cosy local bar. Friendly staff and owners. Range of beers on tap. Cans in the fridge to have there or take away. There's wine and spirits. Plus soft drinks and non-alcoholic beers. Small food menu, but still enough options to keep it interesting. Tasty options at good prices.

You'll find a bunch of locals here. Those doing knock-off drinks, work functions, after sports hangouts, and people having a catch-up with mates. People from across the city come to try a tasting paddle to try the beers.

There's a Run Club here every Wednesday at 6pm.

Semi regular events. Like music nights and special dinners.

Dog friendly venue.

Seats outside with umbrellas.

It gets busy on weekends and...

Great little craft brewery. Very nice beers and excellent pizza in a very personal setting. Mostly bar stool seating next to the bar and brewing equipment and table seating next to the kitchen. No real outside area available. The people are very friendly, helpful and attentive and the atmosphere is on point. Takeaway beer available and a small merch stand is present. I am looking forward to big things from this brewery in the future. Not the most disability friendly place with limited parking, rough access, tight walkways and a limited toilet. See photos for menu and brewery layout.

Decided to check out the little brewery and were we surprised. As i parked, quite dissapointed as this fine brewery was closed. Well to my surprise as i stopped the car, the roller do went up and in we went in. My father and wife sampled a few of Dannie's fine brews and as the designated driver could only have the one and half 🙂 massive thank you to the team at 2 Rupees for letting us try a few of your great beers. Thanks to Radio Brews News Brews News for the article that led me here... try the Pilsner and NEPIA.... Pilser is a cracking must try brew.
