Quality & quantity of food here at Rangeela is going down while the prices are increasing. Last week we had guests coming over so we decided to order Paaninpuri, Dabeli and Sandwiches for takeaway from Rangeela. Upon coming home & opening the packet, we realised for 2* Qty of Paani puri we had the below images of less than half filled boxes of paani, whereas even when we do 1*Qty of Paani puri from here, it used to be 2 full boxes of khatta and meetha. On top of this, when we opened the sandwich box, the qty of chips on side had shrunk by 1/4th qty. As we have been a regular at Rangeela for the last 3 years, we could see the difference here in quantities. For Dabeli also, we have noticed recently there is no peanuts masala that would be generally packed in a very small separate container. That used to be packed irrespective earlier and now even after you may tell them to pack, they will not put it. When we spoke to them about of all this, instead of either acknowledging, we didn’t want a sorry here but just an acknowledgment and it wasn’t done, Infact we were told this is how things were usually done. Being a regular at any business, you can see the difference quite blatantly. So if you are doing take away, please make sure you check for the quantities and missing items, and please note that any Chaat item ( eg dahi puri, sev puri ) is packed all together and becomes soggy by the time you eat it, taking all the fun away. We had told this to them, for take away, to just add things separately, but it seems to falling on deaf ear.

I tried the Cheese masala pav bhaji 07/11/2021. The highlight of pav bhaji is the hot pan roasted bun with the aromatic peas potato gravy. But they have cut the pav into cubes, soaked it in a very spicy / hot gravy and put some cheese on top; there was no peas or potato and the spices burnt my mouth as it was that hot. I only had 3 mouths full and it gave me a severe stomach ache! So sorry but I paid $16 for this appalling and unpleasant dish, both to the eyes and health! I have taken a day off work due to stomach upset on Monday. I thought I better let them know than to review in the public forum since they run a small business and messaged them. It has been 2 days and there is no response. Very disappointed with the food and the careless behaviour.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had the best experience at rangeela]! The food is absolutely delicious – everything is fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. What makes it even better is the incredible service. My friend( brother)ketav, who runs the truck, is one of the kindest and funniest people you'll meet. His positive energy adds so much to the experience, and he always makes sure everyone feels welcome. Not only is he great with customers, but he's also super fast with serving, so you never have to wait long for your order. If you're looking for amazing food and friendly vibes, this is the place to go. Highly recommend stopping by – you won't regret it!

I am writing this review for the food truck owner to read and understand that when a customer is giving a face-to-face feedback they should try to incorporate it or lets say take it positively, not otherwise.

What shocked me on my last visit was how rude front customer service lady was. I have tried almost all food trucks in Melbourne that serves pani-puri and never have they ever filled the puri with masala for a big pani-puri takeaway order because it gets soggy by the time you reach home. And also requested for chopped onions on the side, which we never received.

When confronted the lady, I said, " It is okay you already filled the puri for a take-away order this time, but next time please don't fill it and give separately instead, because otherwise it gets soggy". The lady stated, " no it will not get soggy, this is how we do it unless requested to give them separately". I explained that I am a regular customer and never had them like this and no where else they do it like this. She said " I don't know about anywhere else , this is what we do. Take it the way it is and what else do you want me to do now?". I kept saying it is okay this time but if you think and use common sense then it is waste of money to eat soggy pani-puri when the charm is in having them crispy. I never asked her to replace them, instead just gave an opinion on what would be ideal way of packing pani-puri for takeaway orders. She raised her voice and I just left because there is no point in arguing when someone who doesn't want to understand.

At home, they did get soggy and inedible. Lastly, I have tried pretty much everything on their menu and returned several times ONLY for their pani-puri. Going through the previous reviews before writing mine, made me realise the staff are rude to almost everyone and if their feedbacks were implemented then my experience at Rangeela would have been different. There are other food trucks around them which I will definitely stop by, but hoping to see a smiling & friendly staff at Rangeela food truck...
