"Best eggs in Melbourne and hands down the best skinny strong latte I have ever sipped."
What a treat it was to be referred to this breakfast/brunch spot by my best mate. The restaurant is simply decorated but inviting and offers excellent, shaded views of St. Kilda Rd. The staff are absolutely lovely. Somaya in particular who served me with just the right amount of bubbly persona and organic human interaction. She was also beautifully presented.
The best strong skinny latte I had was prepared by another beautiful girl, Leina, who with efficiency and modesty made art of such a standard drink. She heeded my request for super strong well and the milk sipped was velvety and just the right temperature.
The eggs made my way was cooked to perfection by the marvelous Jack. Not too scrambled and runny/wet just how I prefer it. It tasted divine after first bite and I would recommend any fan of a simple breakfast this way. Simple but flavoursome. Practical to the busy as the food comes out lightning fast.

Read moreWent to this cafe about three months ago and ordered a sandwich and chips. The deep fryer was not working so the chef cooked the chips in a shallow pan that took 35 mins to prepare. I was hangry and uptight after this. I went back again today, and the chef was still cooking chips on the shallow fry pan as the big boy was still out of action. Like fix your fryer mate it should take six mins not 20 plus mins to prepare chips, it was distasteful and left a bad taste in my mouth!!! I am not one to complain but this has gotten to a point where I had no other choice!!! A fellow work colleague was quoted saying "their hearts not in it", show some ticker for goodness sakes!!!! I then went to another cafe and got a lemon cake out of spite and now I have eaten too much and feel sick, this wouldn't have happened if my lunch...
Read moreIf depression was a sandwich, this is what it would look and taste like. Let's start with the presentation, wich is just a plate with 2 pieces of club sandwich and a hand full of chips. The bread was pressed as thin as the menu I ordered it off, and the cheese wasn't fully melted yet. Ingredient wise, the chicken was barely pressent in the sandwich, the avocado ruled the dish (wich in my oppinion shouldn't be on a club sandwich at all) and I didn't taste any mayo.
All by all, this club toasty was a dissapointing lunch and I would not reccoment this club sandwich to anyone that doesn't need another mistake...
