Mister Margherita owner, please take my advise seriously and learn how to do your dough properly to cook on the Middleby Marshall Conveyor owen. This comes from a person that owned numerous Pizza restaurants and has eaten Pizza's all over the world. It tasted like you used a parbake salada bisquit type of base, added the ingreadients and put it through the conveyor owen. I also agree with the previuos review that the tomato sauce was similar to Domino's. Try using proper crushed tomatoes, either San Marzano but if that is too expensive for you, just normal crushed tomato will do. Good luck, I really hope you survive this competitive Pizza market.
Regards
Peter
Hi Sam, after reading your response, I promise I will work on my spelling, but you definitely need to work on your pizza making skills. I forgot to tell you that I was one of the founding members of a large pizza chain in the 80s and 90s (over 120 stores in Victoria and NSW). Originally I was hoping that you will take my criticism seriously, but it doesn't look like you did. I leave you with a photo of the pizza's I produce at my house in a domestic oven, when I have time to do so. I honestly wish I had time before I purchased one from your shop. You can draw your own conclusion by comparing my home made pizza to yours. If you want, I'm happy to come and see you as a consultant and show you how you can make a dough to suit your pizza oven. All the best mate.

Hi Sam, originally it was spirit of the moment review due to disappointment of what I have purchased. I was very hungry that evening and expected something much better for $28.50 having read some of the reviews. Never previously have I left such a poor feedback for a pizza, as a matter of fact I have never even left a feedback about pizza quality ever before! I was also expecting a completely different and more mature reaction from you as the owner and I was going to remove my review after you responded, but since you dug in to my oven spelling and missed the whole meaning behind my review, I expanded my thoughts. I really suggest you should go and eat some pizza in other shops in the area, that charge around same price as you (actually less) like Bay 101 or Ciao Cielo. You need to understand, if you want to play in that price range that your quality needs to be on par with competition. Since you now backpedalling even more and telling me I wanted to discredit your name and questioning my intent, I stand by what I said and will not be commenting on this subject any more. I wish you all the very...

One of the few places to eat around the Shrine of Remembrance, we found this place on EatClub and so we had lunch here. On entering, the first thing I saw was a chef busy kneading a pizza dough, and the other staff whizzing about the place, taking and serving orders. The place is so cozy, and it draws you in.
😋💯
On placing our orders, Penne Pollo (Chicken Breast, Roasted Capsicum, Artichokes, Creamy Pesto Sauce, $26), a bottle of Bundaberg Lemon, Lime& Bitters ($4), and my friend had a Margherita vegetarian pizza (San Marzano Tomato, Mozzarella, Fior Di Latte, Provolone, Basil, E.V. Olive Oilo, $21).
After waiting for what felt like forever, the bowl of pasta arrived first with the drink follwrd by the pizza. I really enjoyed the pasta. The sauce had a deep herby flavour to it and owing to its thickness elevated the whole pasta. Another thing, the pasta looked amazing. The chicken pieces sometimes felt lost in the pasta and sauce, but the highlight of the dish was the creamy sauce, which I really cherished.
Coming to the pizza, it was a thin crust one, and my friend liked it, although not as good as some other low-priced pizzas elsewhere.

The ambiance of this place is just the best! It really felt like an authentic Italian restaurant with delicious food. Although the prices are quite high, the quality of the food kind of makes up for it.
The staff were great, and this place is a busy one! There are tables outside for dining, for those interested in it. The waiting time was quite long, and it'd be great to have it cut short with a speedier service.
Nonetheless, if you're in South Melbourne, this place is worth trying out for...
Read moreWow. Dining at Mister Margherita tonight, was an absolute delight and joy. We felt like we were sitting in a stunning Pizzeria in the middle of Manhattan. It is such a glorious vibe; from the Artdeco rolling pin wall feature and charming golden mushroom touch table lamps, to the stunning ambient background music. These mindfully and carefully picked details, create such a luscious atmosphere. We were greeted with such beautiful warmth and friendliness; Mister Margherita's dedicated, attentive and kind staff were so gentle and patient with us; thank you, we are very grateful. The menu is generous and varied in mouth-watering options. We didn't have to wait long at all for our scrumptious, delicious and immaculately presented meals, which is such a blessing when we go out as a family; not having to wait for a lengthy time for meals. Pizza bases; perfection! Toppings were so fresh and incredibly flavourful. These guys truly have it worked out. I can't recommend this gorgeous place enough and it was obvious by the continuous flow of people, that it is very well loved. Thank you so much for such a wonderful night, we look forward to seeing...
