I chose to try Domino's thinking it's going to be cheap and atleast satisfy my kids. I was wrong, and once added up, especially without their special deals (which you need to pay close attention to or you'll end up with the deal being void) or if you add extras they really aren't any cheaper than places that have pizza that actually taste amazing. The pizza was barely edible. Even for my kids. I thought as they like simplistic food that a pizza with ham, cheese, pepperoni and bacon from one of the cheapest pizza places available would satisfy them even if mine wasn't the best. They hardly touched it and wanted more food after. I tried the garlic scrolls as a side. They were woefully bland. My pizza was the chicken and camembert one. I added a couple of extras most of which they forgot (basil drizzle, oregano) but remembered the chilli flakes. The chicken was terrible and rubbery. I didn't notice the taste of or even see any camembert. The only flavour I could distinguish was the chilli flakes. The ham on my kids pizza (which sounds great on the menu wood smoked virginian or something) really did not taste very good at all. The quality of ingredients is low. The pizzas didn't taste good or satisfy us. I'm not looking forward to the leftovers in the fridge which is unusual. I ordered thin bases.. I don't know if this worsened the noticeably cheap ingredients - even though their menu reads as though your getting something fancy. It's dressed up as something it's not. It wasn't even cheap and I ordered with a coupon. I don't think I will try Domino's again. I'd rather spend the same or a little more for pizzas that we actually like eating and support smaller businesses. Service is good, delivery times are accurate but the food isn't worth...
Read moreTerrible service and the worst dominos I've ever been to - and that's saying something.
Made an online order for 7:21 pick up. Arrived at 7:25 and waited at the service desk for few mins, not a single person served or acknowledged my presence even. Finally I asked if I could get some service. One guy came and checked with me and then all of a sudden left the store... leaving me without an attendant again. Finally I asked again the ETA on my order and this guy who appeared to be the manager became impatient and said it was coming. Yes HE had the audacity to be impatient and annoyed by ME. At this point I felt like I had to say something and said my order said 7:21 pick up and it's now 7:30 and I don't even see anyone working on my pizzas. Finally another woman came and started working on the pizzas, albeit at a snail's pace. After a few more mins the manager finally understood how long it was taking and took over that worker who was the slowest I've ever seen and started cutting them up fast.
Look, I understand why you want to go to dominos. But let me tell you there are a ton of better options. You may ask me well why did you go there then and to that I answer I like to spread out my business to different businesses. I have been to most of the pizza places from Mont Albert to Nunawading, if you ever need good recommendations for better pizza places than this dominos then feel free to message me any time. Hell if you are in the Box Hill area, merely going to Crust Pizza which is about 100m away is a much better option. Way...
Read moreGoogle should create zero star because that's what i could have rated this Domino's! So i ordered a pizza at around 1:30pm today. Went to pick it up at 3:30pm but I had to wait for more than 10 minutes yet with the given time frame the pizza was ready! Well 2 staff were busy one cleaning the work bench and the other staff getting pizza out of the oven. Now there was a third staff member without uniform and wearing a beanie behind the service counter who was causing massive confusion to the other 2 staff member because he had a shift to fill in something like that. One of the staff noticed that I was still waiting and come and asked me if I had ordered or need to place an order. Told the staff I had ordered and that's when the 3 staff member stepped in and starting to tell off the 2 staff members. I told him it's not their fault, as clearly I could see they were under the pump and him creating a lot of confusion around them. The third staff member (I think could be a manager) offered i have the pizza for free which I declined and asked for my change. The third staff member pleaded with me but I refused because he couldn't get the point that service areas is for service and not work office to fill in shifts. As I was about to leave I heard him swearing (not towards me) but because of the whole poor customer service mistakes they made. Told the staff he had made the situation worse and...
