Up to now, this shop has the best macchiato. The macchiato I tried is creammy, a little bit sweet and not sour. This option is good for those who love coffee but not love the sour flavour. As a visitor to Melbourne, I stumbled upon Dukes Coffee Roasters tucked away on a charming little street. The place had a real Melbourne vibe - stylish but understated, with light streaming in through large windows and warm wood paneling lining the walls. I instantly felt relaxed and knew I was in for a good coffee experience.

The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the different beans they offered and brewing methods, which I really appreciated. I opted for a single origin pour-over, and it was fantastic! The aroma was intoxicating, and the flavor was rich and complex, with none of that burnt bitterness you sometimes get.

Dukes Coffee Roasters isn't just about the coffee, though. They also have a delicious selection of cakes and pastries that look homemade and mouthwatering. I managed to resist temptation this time, but next visit, I'm definitely grabbing a slice to go with my coffee.

Overall, Dukes Coffee Roasters was a real gem of a find. It's the perfect spot to relax, people-watch, and enjoy a truly exceptional cup of coffee. I highly recommend it to any coffee lover...

My friend just had an unpleasant experience here. It's not about the quality of coffee but attitudes of a staff. My friend walked in, found a spot and then decided to have a cup of coffee here. However, when she was ordering her coffee at the counter, the staff wasn't really nice and did not ask her if she wanted to take away or have here as expected. My friend was a bit confused but still walked back to the spot she found. As she was waiting for her coffee, she heard her name was called out for the take away coffee instead of a staff bring coffee to her, which was unusual for a customer to have coffee in the store. Because of that, she had to walked through the crowds and got her coffee which was even in a paper cup! This is such a miscommunication case that disappoints my friend. If a customer cannot have a seat freely due to extremely high demand of seats (I know dukes is always in rush hour), then the staffs should have told my friend early about it so that she can decide whether she want to take away or wait for a seat. My friend and I both admit that dukes make excellent coffee and this also gives us an idea that this kind of cafe should have an excellent service to match its...

I literally didn’t remember the coffee shop name so i searched for a good one and then get into long line when I got in then I realized ‘oh this is the same coffee’ as I went last time 6 months ago, like the same cashier attitude with different person, No good morning No hi - just the word “Yeah” and wait for me to order without saying anything without even smile 😅is this really normal for this coffee shop, or it’s me that international students? Not so sure cuz she say ‘hi how are you for the person before me????? Anyway coffee today is ok but they wont heat any pastries for you and they dont have medium size of up when you having-in, so if you just wanna grap and go, this coffee shop is ok… anyway for me I may not come back!😅 I was traumatized by the way their service...

Busy as! Line up moves quick. Was easy to find a seat as I was solo. Limited seating. Small shop. Had their house blend which was darker. 8.75/10
