Went to this place for a birthday, came out surprised how much value for money it is. Have since gone back with a couple of friends and we've all enjoyed it and once again surprised with the value for money. Currently have a summer special of $29.90 for weekend and $4 beers They have 3 sessions every night 5.30 - 7/ 7-9.30/ 9.30-11. The staff are attentive, it's all self serve however if you need new scissors, tongs or drinks just let them know. You cook the food yourself and they only swap out the trays when it gets too smokey. You get an hour and a half to squeeze as much food as possible. There's a selection of pork, beef and chicken meats. They aren't the best cuts but you get what you pay for and there's plenty of it. There are cold dishes as well as Buffett style Korean fried chicken. Vegetarian options available but limited. Those that are available are surprisingly tasty. A limited selection of sauces but they're good sauces at least. Recommend you to be on time, they strictly run by the clock and give you 10 minutes notice. It's a small place and between 4 people you share 1 burner so keep that in mind. Parking can be tricky so leave some extra time just in case you need to find parking on the next street and walk. For value, experience and its Food 8/10.

Never a big fan of Korean BBQs, but this place made me rethink. (a) Food - I had the chance to try out quite a big portion of the menus, and I'd say my favorites are the Fried chickens, Soy chicken fillet, and Kimchi. The fried chickens are crispy on the outside, but soft and tender inside - finishing it requires no effort. It came with these perfectly cooked chips that tastes fresh, crisp, and well-seasoned. Fillets are phenomenal! The mixed meat allowed me to have a taste of each flavors - very easy to tear and munch on. The black rice(?) was something new! Made me feel healthier while eating it haha (b) Service - Servers are all very friendly, helpful, and interactive. Asked both me and my friend if we wanted to re-order so that we won't waste our money. Changed our grill plates several times to avoid burning food, reminds us to ask if any help is needed. (c) Atmosphere - Enjoyable hustle-bustle ambience right from the kitchen and visitors. I think you'd have a great time eating either alone or with company. Definitely coming back for the same experience (and the grape soda). All the best, Eat All!

Affordable and good value! If you love a good combination of meat and enjoys the experience of cooking it yourself while you socialise with your friends and family then look no further. The restaurant is conveniently located near Queen Victoria Market with plenty of parking nearby and free after 6.30pm so you can enjoy your 2 hours dining experience. Once seated, you'll be presented with a selection of sides which includes salad, vegetables, soup, topokki, fried chicken, and dipping sauces. You can then order your meat for BBQ. The meat options are pork, chicken, beef, and prawns. They come in marinated and plain. We recommend the bulgogi as they're tender and well marinated. The portions are generous so start with a couple depending on your party and just order more if needed. The presentation and flavourings are not as comparable to other Korean restaurants, but for this price you can't go wrong. Staff are covid safe and efficient as they promptly change your grill plate and get any refills you requested.

This is probably the worst KBBQ restaurant my friends and I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. The staff were fantastic though, the following issues are clearly from the top.

For a week, we’d had an 8:30 booking secured for Saturday 1st June for 6 people, however, once we arrived for our booking (8:20-25pm), we were forced to wait in the cold half crammed into the doorway as they cleared tables they had obviously overbooked. Ironic, considering I was sent at least 4-5 confirmation texts/emails prior to our booking.

They cleared two tables and pushed them together, but instead of sitting our group of 6 there, we were forced to sit in the centre of the room on a table built for two people with literal fold out camping chairs. The joined tables were given to a group of 4 adults with two very small children, so unsure why the decision to seat us (6 grown young adults) at a tiny table in the middle was made.

Edit 2: In the staff’s defence, they were lovely! They had smiles on their faces even though they were clearly overrun and overworked. We all have off days, and I’m assuming my experience coincided with a day on which the staff were struggling to battle managerial and ownership incompetence. Having worked in hospitality for most of my life, I know what poor ownership looks like. These staff members should consider moving their skills elsewhere, somewhere they will be valued — as they deserve to be.

Ignoring the terrible overbooking and customer management experience, we get to the food. For an all you can eat BBQ, the amount of food you get and the variety is practically abysmal. Additionally, all kinds of meats are cross contaminated on individual plates. Adding to this, the actual meat was clearly defrosted as it had obvious signs of freezer burn and oxidisation. Absolutely shameful experience, save your time and go to BBQ King or Dear Barbecue.

After eating the minimum amount of food, we decided to walked to ChangGo. Top spot. The quality of the food was beyond incomparable. It makes me sad the talent and attitude of the friendly staff are being wasted at a restaurant that does not care about them.

Edit 1: The initial response to this review was along the lines of, “your profile reviews are all 1 star so thanks for your review” posted on behalf of who I’m sure was the owner. Not only is that not true, it’s not even relevant. Good to see the response has been altered, guessing this was a managerial/staff decision — good work, guys and girls. Your attitudes are great, I just hope the owners appreciate...

Booked for family dinner at 5.30pm and when we are arrived around 5 table, more or less, has already pre set with salad, ssam jang and others. We sat and began to enjoy and around 60~65 minutes later floor staff came and calling last order, itnisn2 hours session, then immediately asked back with confusion about the dining for 2 hours and staff told me it is 2 hours so that's why calling off last order to cook and enjoy until your 2 hours (wasn't event 7 pm ) so ordered one more serve of beef but it wasn't enough for me and my family so asked another floor staff.

Then staff saying " You already ordered last order", it was just 6.45pm, and she saying I can't have more meat because finished then I asked back " isn't it until 7pm?" Then staff saying " But we asked you for last order so you can't have any more " Then I asked her so then I will leave with family but you need yo give me discount for prices because we can't have any more " then the staff told me straight away " not 2 hours mean you can eat for 2 hours" Any ways the gave me one smallest piece of meet then we left 7.10pm But until we left a few of table still had table seting and salad and others were look so ugly and wondering is that ok to keep those fresh ingredients outside for at least 2~3hours?

So now my big questions is WHY doesn't 'All you can eat restaurant for 2 hours' really allow you to enjoy bbq not more than an hour?

Beside prices between online and Restaurant...

Reservation at 5:30 and was told 1 hour and a half to eat. Realised it is not a buffet style but infact an order as you go style. Bbq got turned on a 6pm! Put in an order for meat and fries for kids. Meat arrived and not the fries. Table next to us who arrived later got their fries. Told the worker and was told it's comming. We finished all the meat and salads then I tried to call over a worker a few times with no luck. Then we asked if everything had come out and they said yes. But they had missed out on the fries. So I made a new order including 2 fries and meat. Waited 17 mins for the meat to come out!. By the time the meat came out we have only 20 mins left. My daughter had to go up and ask them about fries. They finally brang it but only 7 mins before our time was up and only half a plate for both my children. Safe to say I won't be back again. We were sitting for 17 mins with nothing on our grill and not eating food. So just say you have less than an hour eating time because they are slow with bringing out orders and taking them too. Also told one of the workers both my kids eat only fries as they are picky eaters and they didn't like the fried chicken and she spoke to us very condescending sating she doesn't think so. Only thing good about it is that they...
