My son has had a Ross procedure at Epworth Hospital, where they replace both the pulmonary valve and the aortic valve. He also had an aneurysm removed from his heart. When they completed the procedure, he had a bleed and they had to open him up again to re suture an area of his heart. We were obviously terrified and while the hospital staff was amazing going through this alone with no support and no one to visit was awful. I live interstate and was not able to enter Melbourne so I called Fredricks to ask if they could deliver some bone broth and some items to help his recovery. Richard and Clare not only organised this but followed up with extra support, even offering to do his washing if needed. It is a testament to you and Clare that you have been so amazing, your kindness..... I have no words. Thank you from the bottom...
Read moreI love shopping here for everything you want from a farmers market during the entire week in a one stop shop, permanent bricks and mortar location.. Open long hours.
This shop stocks all the good stuff. If you've never tried the scallop pie then do so. I love the tailor made service. One time I said I'd love a scallop pie but you've sold out. The gentleman replied "if you want a pie heated up, call me one hour before and I will put one on for you, so it's ready for you to eat". Please be sure to honour and turn up to eat your order as this appears to be a small boutique family run store.
They stock Strada Gluten free bread here.
Love love love the good old fashioned friendly service and delicious products. Oh and the gourmet coffee at about $2.80...

I had 1 Mornay Scallop Pie and 1 Curry Scallop Pie, and I loved them both. I encourage you to get down to the Vic Market where you’ll find their stall in Shed A, half way up the isle on the Victoria Street side. You can have them hot in the market or take home frozen for...
