I dont understand why this place has such a high rating. It's one of the worst kbbq experiences I've ever had.
I knew the food wasn't fresh the moment I took a bite of the kimchi and the other side dishes. The taste just wasn't worth the price at all. I could buy those expensive packaged marinated meat at KT mart and it would still taste a lot better, be a lot cheaper, and be a lot fresher than the food at this place.
I was looking forward to the fried chicken but it was rubbery, tasted funky like it had been stored for a while, and costed an arm and a leg.
I wouldn't be surprised if I get sick tomorrow and I can still feel the food slowly being churned in my stomach.
I understand that it costs money to run a business. But at the same time, I feel like customers deserve value for what they are paying. I can think of other places that cost the same amount that taste a million times better and fresher.
When i see other reviews saying that the food isn't fresh, I really do agree. I think they are trying to cut costs to the tee. And everytime I see the restaurant responding that they'll do better even from 4 years ago, I wouldn't be surprised if nothing has actually changed.
So no, don't come to this place if you want your money's worth, there are other places for that. And unfortunately I won't be coming back even though the restaurant might say...
Read moreStaggeringly rude service. The waitresses throw down food onto your table without even looking at you and walk away ignoring you. You have to wave to get their attention and they are not attentive at all. Sullen and unfriendly, and one waitress even shoved our table along to fit another person without warning us and two people almost were toppled off their chairs because of her aggressive actions.
Food is fine/average so given how rude they are - spend your money elsewhere as there's Korean places nearby which are much better.
Finally, they also speak terrible English and can't communicate properly and caused a huge inconvenience for our group. When I called and made a booking earlier in the week I said I'd be bringing a cake for dessert. So far no problems. On the day, when it was cake time, they then brought out the cake in its packaging with the supplied candles still on top also in its packaging and said "we don't allow outside food"!!!. They didn't tell me on phone this rule - was was incomprehensible? Why on earth when I mentioned I would be bringing a cake did they not tell me on the phone I couldn't?
I would rate 0/5 if I could. My first ever review for a restaurant because just how bad they were. Avoid! Spend your money elsewhere, this business doesn't...
