If you want HK style food, this place replicates 95% of the taste from HK. Little bit differ from the canto style.
Positive points. The food is reasonably good. The beef mix soup with rice noodle, we can give it a pretty good rating, with reasonably quantity of meat and freshness as well, beef boned based soup with slight touch of spice and garlic and garnishes. The rice noodle was good quality as well, not too thin and not too thick. The drink of milk tea. Light sweetness and fairly good tea taste, it is very close to 翠華 & 太興 but not 100%, if you want me to out a rating score on it I would give it 85%. Not overly sweet is the positive point about it.
The 雞蛋仔 egg waffle is quite authentic, crispy outter shell and soft inner fillings with egg flavour. Also has oreo flavour, not bad. Must try.
Bad points The cost of the food is fairly high priced, when you have most of Melbourne selling the same beef mix rice noodle for around $12-$13, but obviously you pay for what you get for so the extra price is for the taste and quality. The other bad point is that you cannot order on the table, they give you menu and water on the table, but you will have to order away from the table and line up. It will give you the misconception of that you can order from the table while you cannot. If you could order from the table it would be better, the customer would feel more welcomed and warm.
Overall this place is good for a craving of HK style food, must try the milk tea and lemon tea with beef mix.
Oh btw I also ordered braised port rice, but it was soso so I did not bother...

I went to this place on the 9th of July 2023 and made a purchase via the online ordering system (by scanning the QR code on the front), and was later told that the system was down, so the order could not be processed.
The lady at the counter took down my phone number and I was told that I would be refunded the $24 I paid in the coming days. Of course, we made a purchase as the lady said, she would refund us the money.
I waited for more than 2 weeks and have not been refunded this money. My friend who also made a purchase has not been refunded as well.
It would be great if the restaurant could get in contact with me to sort this out, as honestly, it felt as though we paid $48 for that meal.
Edit - Got my refund after putting this review on the 29th of July (so it took them a few weeks, to actually even bother to initiate a refund), so I will change the rating and add in the rating for the food as well.
There is no doubt, the food here is better than average and probably higher quality than a few other places.
Food is also well packed in a different container that separates the rice and mains with a well-designed container. Is it worth the price though? I guess that is for...
Read more衰到冇人有. TERRIBLE service! 11.30am, still lots of empty seats and table, two other colleagues and I were on lunch break today, I was ecstatic to promote this place as they have been good in the past multiple times I visited. We noted the $18pp charge, we split the order in two batches, but we are still a table of 3. Cumulatively we ordered well above $54 ($18x3ppl), but when the last person ordered and paid, they specifically asked who the meal is for, who the drink is for, and REFUSED us to sit inside as one of us didn’t order the minimum $18. I mean c’mon! The total as a table, we paid above the minimum for sure! The cashier looked like she was in a difficult position with her ‘manager’ (a lady not in waitressing uniform sitting by the computer) behind her kept shaking her head at us. Forced me to change my order to takeaway with nowhere to sit. I am NEVER coming back again, and WOULD NOT recommend anyone to come who has some self respect. Shameful really. 不。會。再。來!...
